HONDA CB750F SUPER SPORT CAFE BIKE, Washington Title $6000
I had fun building this machine and now it is time to start another project to try and give me a bit of space here in the barn, but this Super Sport Model came out looking quite tough and it has a unique exhaust system and many other cool parts to make this stand out in the crowd of machines that you see on the road these days. This is a big machine, and I am 5’10 and I’m tip toe on this bike as I built the wheels and put taller wider tires on it, so its not for the short person as your feet would not touch the floor.
The gas tank has some modification as I removed the big gas tank hinged panel that flipped up, then cut the old filler neck out and welded a smooth panel and then welded a Harley screw bung in its place, then fitted an aluminum Monza cap for that race look and I am glad the way it has turned out. The Body work has a wrap on it as I based the look on the Formula 1 Ferrari team as the bike is an F1 and my brother is into Formula one race cars back home and wanted to try something different, the good thing is, if you want to paint the bodywork to your preferable style and color, you can simply use a heat gun and remove the wrap and then simply take all the bodywork to your painter. Easy really….
The bike has all the proverbial bells and whistles and certain to be a head turner wherever you park the steed, the colorful Red will catch the eye like a flower to a humming bird, this has a warp on the body work, so if you want to paint it your own style, then that’s an easy task to perform. The GPS speedometer is modern with a Classic racing guise as i made the bucket and fitted this into it and tig welded then polished, it sweeps just like the old Smiths gauges of back in the day but, has LED odometer at the bottom.
This is a fun machine, and I shall add a list of all the parts that this special build consists of, that way you know the build sheet and what you are getting, I have a title for it, it’s a Washington title as I bought the bike in parts and ended up building it into this machine, all the numbers match, so no worries where ever you take it to register as you will also get a bill of sale to go with the title, but-you will have to arrange shipping if you are out of California.

Take a look and see what you think, as a lot of time and energy went into this super sport bike and its a great looking ride that I got as a stock non running motorcycle in Washington, it has a Washington title and the numbers all match, so easy to simply transfer. The rasp of the exhaust is great as them BSA megaphones give it that Nostalgic rasp and the Dunstall headers are over 40 years old but New old stock. The bike stands well and has tarozzi rear sets for that low feel of the old race track bikes of the day and it shifts smoothly too.
So many great bits of detail on this inline four machine and it screams yesteryear from every angle, it turns heads right away and it’s fun to ride, even with the rear sets and clubman bars, it will make you smile riding in the twisties. The rear end looks so cool with polished aluminum and drilled rotors etc, its something that will always get people asking questions about.
Located on Southern California, you can ship this to wherever you like, or come and pick it up? I have built many of these CB750’s over the 25 years here and, I continue to do so as its therapy for me, nothing quite like the bark of an inline four engine, great motors and stands the tests of time compared to many other brands of the same era. the headers are Original Paul Dunstall out of the original packing that i have had for years.
the seat I made and then upholstered and wanted to add the diamond stitching like the old race seats of the day at the race track and it sure looks the part and is functional too as i added snaps so you can remove fast to get to your documents etc.
The Motor is high temp wrinkle black and is dressed off with stainless steel high grade Allen bolts, no expense is spared on this bike and the more you look, the more that you will see that I have done and if I added it up it would be way passed 10K, but I love building and this is a fun machine.
