New Hand-Made Velocity Stacks for CB750 – $300 a set, all polished!

Check out my NEW All aluminum machined finned Velocity stacks, these are my newest part that I have come up with and available for you, these will look great on any CB750 HONDA.

Just have a look as this picture will tell you all you need to know, I shall add more photos as I go along.

This is for the 1969-1976 CB750 SOHC model 39 mm stock carbs and if you want to embellish your 500 pounder easily, this is your Best bet.

These are the best on the market, I mean, just look at the quality and the finish, these really will set your bike apart from the others with a set of these stacks on your Carbs.

Below you can see the Velocity stacks in a smooth polished  finish and they look super trick.

I have tried these on early sand cast carbs and right up to 1976 CB750F round top carbs and they fit nicely.

I love both styles but the finned ones really turn my crank and I am sure they do for you and your inline Four?

New Wheel Bearing retainer wrench for K and F series SOHC.

Well, many times i have beat my head against the wall, trying to get the old Aluminum bearing retainers from out of the hubs etc, Usually you will destroy the things so bad, they wont come out at all.

So, what I did was make a tool to fit both the K series CB750 rear wheel hub, as well as the CB750F hub and this works awesome.

No more banging an old screwdriver, or trying to tap the thing undone, only to bugger all the threads up as well and bring your own blood pressure up.

So- here is a great wrench for you so you can remove the retainer and save a wee bit of sweat and swearing.

These are made out of heavy Gauge steel with steel pins to make sure this sits in the holes correctly and does the job it was intended for, I have looked for a tool such as this but never seem to find one, so though the best to be make my own and offer these for sale, so at least you can have a better chance of taking your own machine apart, rather than paying a shop to do it.

I know you can use it as I have used this now 4 times this week as I had to remove bearings from hubs so I can polish and paint the hubs and then re-spoke, so it has already paid for itself many times over.

So, have a look, I now sell these on my website and you can use it right out of the box, one end is for the smaller retainer that Super Sports have and the other end is for all the K series SOHC machines.

Here is a quick video I did, forgive the quality but I was on my own and trying to work left handed.

These will be priced at $29.99 and ready to ship to you today !!!!!

FOR SALE – CB750 1975 SUPER SPORT CAFE RACER “COAL CHISEL” (S O L D)

Well, not quite ready yet but as I said in an earlier Blog, I picked up this old 1975/76 CB750F series up from a storage yard a few weeks ago.

Here she is when I got her.

Now she is like this at the moment.

I have now started to work on this fine beast and will soon be up for grabs and it will be a cool ride for someone, as this is an original bike with a few of my Cafe touches to it.

This machine has one of my New Knee inserted Glass Cafe Racer Gas Tanks and is fitted with New Alloy Flip Top Gas cap and a New Genuine Honda Petcock.

I have just fitted one of My Rocket 4 seat bases to the frame and I shall be upholstering this coming week with any luck and will fit a cool rear tail light onto the back of the seat base.

I have fitted a New Chrome Classic headlight and brand New Alloy Turn signals.

The lights work on high and Low beam and I look forward to hearing some of your thoughts on this machine.

The bike has a set of Original Boranni Alloy deep Dish Race rims on it and they were anodized back in 1978, hence the sun light has faded the back etc but still a great set of rims.

The rear is a 16 inch high by 3.00 wide and has a low ratio sprocket set up.

The front has a 19 inch Boranni and I just rebuilt the front brake caliper and functions very well indeed.

The rear caliper I took apart as it was seized up, I completely stripped it and polished the carcasses, then new O rings and Piston and fitted, then bled and now that functions very well.

A set of club-man bars sit on top of the triples and New GT grips too.

The Carbs were pulled apart and rebuilt and has Original aftermarket cool Air filter set ups that I have not seen for ions.

The Jewel in the crown on this machine is it has an Original Series one YOSHIMURA exhaust system, this is the real deal and a very very hard item to locate these days.

To add to this, the bike has big Cheese cutter Disc brakes back and front and were drilled back in the day.

To help her cool down, this has an Original Lockhart Oil cooler kit

I have decided to use another seat base of mine called the Razor Back, I like its proportions and shall have a tuck n roll snap fitting seat cover on this base to give it that Nostalgic look.

This will have an Oval or Round Red L.E.D. tail light in the back when all said and done and will make sure that it functions perfectly.

I shall post photo’s as I go along, so each day you may see little changes in this Cafe Racer motorcycle.

I have aptly named this bike ” The Coal Chisel ”

Tempered or heat-hardened steel is the most common metal used to make coal chisels. The additional hardness and strength gained from the tempering process make it possible for the chisel to perform its tasks efficiently. Since coal chisels are used mostly for cutting or scraping masonry objects or metal surfaces, the chisel has to be harder than the contact surface to effectively reshape the material in the desired fashion.

The bike Now runs and will video that during the week and this bike Has the Original Pink Slip too from the Original Owner, so a bonus there too eh?
I shall fit a New chain and a New non maintenance Battery and a battery tender, that way you will be covered etc.
I have just changed the spark plugs for new NGK – DHEA models and she runs great.
I clean the carbs and have fitted new jets, the Yoshimura sounds tip top but I may ceramic coat her to add a little bit of bling to this machine, although I like her as she is.
This is NOT a show bike, its a real Cafe Racer with super rare parts and I know you wont find a Yoshi original for less than a couple of grand these days.
I shall fit a polished fork brace this week and a new rear chain too.
I think I will paint the tank and seat and I need to get a right side cover but can get one from Europe easy enough then paint the set to look cool with some pin lines etc.
Wanted to add some pictures on here for you to look at. If you wanted the bike right now as she is, then I would like $3000 and as I said, she runs and has a title.
714-598-8392 and you can text me on that too.
The more I do, the more the price goes up, but this has some RARE parts that are so hard to find and a great deal for someone out there in Cafe Racer land.
tonup@att.net is where you can email me too.

this is a great set up for someone and YES this does run, and, I shall add some video of the bike running and me riding it on this page, so scroll down to check that out.

I shall be fitting the headlight, and everything will work on here, I am upholstering the seat at this very moment and will take more photos as I go along.

This has a round L.E.D. rear tail light and a few other parts that I can try and add.

I have polished the master cylinder to a chrome finish and lever too, this will have a braided hose front brake set up on this bike too.

I have fitted a cool Aluminum drilled battery box and a new non maintenance battery with a tender.

The Carbs have been rebuilt and run fine as well as having new fuel lines and jets.

We have fitted BRAND NEW left and right hand side handlebar switches, as well as New chrome  7/8 Clubman handle bars with New old Stock 1974 GT grips.

OK, here we go with more photo’s, as I have been working my arse off to get this looking cool.

I have torn the front end off and polished the forks to a chrome finish and boy do they look great, and, as to garnish this plate of coolness, I added New gators and New Chrome bezels.

This looks really cool now and I am sure you lot will be happy with it, but I am still working on this machine so have patience ok?

As you can see, this bike is starting to look the part now and I have still to complete here as there are many more things i would like to get completed on this Cafe Racer.

Some people have asked me if the lights work on this bike?

Oh yes, and the rear L.E.D tail light functions quite well thanks.

I have also added a few other cool items on this bike and am sure that you will be happy about that? I wanted to make sure that you had a neutral light and an oil pressure light, so ftted my special bracket I made, use stainless steel LED light displays and wired that up and fitted etc.

Then I added brand new Chrome 2.5 inch Gauges and this looks the part now, I added the cables this evening and I actually wired the lights inside the gauges and they work well when you turn your headlights on.

This bike has an array of parts on since you lot looked on the website and more to do tomorrow as I want to try and finish this by the end of the weekend.

Both front and back turn signals are my Chromed diamond version and also I fitted a New flasher unit, these function perfectly.

Speedo drive I polished and re-chromed the drive plate, I then used New Stainless M8 Bolts and Flange nuts to hold this all together.

Look at the new parts on there, new switches, new cables, New bars, new grips, new headlight, new visor, new gators, new bezels etc.

I even polished the master cylinder and tomorrow I shall add braided steel brake line to a Polished caliper.

The seat base is upholstered and it is hinged with working LED rear light.

You look and decide, as all this works.

Stay tuned for more photo’s tomorrow and over the weekend.

The rear wheel is now a Chromed 16 inch Harley rim laced to a CB750 Hub and with new brake shoes fitted.

Well I am almost there now, this will be a good set up for somebody.

Polished stator cover and gear shift cover now, helps the motor look a little more cleaner now.

Old aluminum Velocity stacks give this machine the old school feel.

I drilled and polished the front sprocket cover to dress this side up.

So I have a few more things to do but I have now had a chain fitted to the New sprockets and I have a new non maintenance battery too.

I also polished the clutch cover to get that side looking better .

I fitted my New Bracket that can allow for a ignition relocation, but what I wanted to do was use it so I can fit 2 LED display lights, of which I wired up and they both function as they are supposed to.

I polished the Master cylinder too as it was a Back anodizing that had faded over the years to a dull Grey, so best polish it and now that looks like chrome.

I have just rebuilt the Brake Caliper and then polished it to a chrome finish, then, I got rid of the old worn out brake hose and replaced it with a New braided Steel hose.

More ” T ” Vicar ?

Well, a nice old style Model T couple turned up today to come and visit the shop, I thought I would snap a few shots for you lot to have a look at.

A Classic small block and it sure gets a long well with the Chrome reverse rims and baby Moon Caps.

This is a step back in time with Hot Rodding and you really do not see many of these 1926 Telephone booth Coupes around anymore.

Old super Bell Tube axle shows it’s era and of course, disc brake front end is an early set up too.

Sit up and beg style steering column must make your back ache, but cool interior.

Good old Stewart Warner Gauges made my day to see.

First Service & What A Rare Egg!

Not many of these left around. This bike is a 1962 owned by a collector this bike is in wonderful original condition. It stopped into the shop today for a service and some carb work. This was a great way to start the new service department.

Moto Parilla S.p.A. of Milan, Italy was founded in 1946 by Giovanni Parrilla (1912—1968), and specialized in the production of two-stroke and four-stroke, 50cc to 350cc motorcycles, three-wheelers, and industrial generators between 1946 and 1965. Moto Parilla introduced the 4-stroke, 175cc chain-driven OHC “high-cam” (camme rialzata) engine in 1953, produced 20hp, and used in the Parilla GS (Gran Sports), Lusso Veloce, MSDS, Speedster, Sport Speciale, and Wildcat Scrambler. Displacement in later versions was increased to 200cc and 250cc, utilizing a gear-driven cam. Parrilla based the design of his first high-cam racers on the Norton Manx.

Live Around Orange? You Know This Truck!

If you live around the Old Town Orange Area, there is little chance you have not seen our buddy Paul, driving around town. We had the pleasure of his visit this weekend and where lucky enough to take a little of his time to show off his truck, and pose it with our own shop truck. Paul’s truck, I should mention for all of you that don’t know is a daily driver. The truck is fitted with a small block Chevy, a Th350 trans and a Polished Jag IRS rear end. Other improvements include a unisteer system, Lokar Shifter and a Limeworks Hood strap kit that really sets off this great little truck. He has been seen wondering around town with everything from a Christmas tree in the back to City Council ads. In my opinion I can’t think of Orange without thinking of that cute little green truck zipping through the Orange Circle.
