Here’s a cool deal for the budget builder, now, you can pay a huge number of greenbacks for a milled and polished set of air filters and that’s fine and dandy if you are feeling flush and want some spendy parts, but if you need an “Affordable” alternative but give the same appearance, then here is a set of Four 39mm Bell Mouth Aluminum Velocity stacks that will push onto your carb rack and then tighten the hose clamp to secure. They come as a set of (4) with hose clamps too, so ready to fit.
Weighing just a few ounces each, these universal velocity stacks are what you’ve been looking for. They’re inexpensive and they do the job you need which is creating a tunnel for air to enter your engine while keep it protected with a micro mesh screen that is in the face of the carburetor, making sure no debris gets into them and causing fuel starvation.
These are cheap and cheerful, they have slotted edges so you can push these onto your carb and fit snugly, then simply attach hose clamp and tighten, these have that Nostalgic look of the 1960’s Race circuit era and clean up the area where your ugly stock airbox used to sit.

You can spend a lot of money on hand crafted versions, but these are super cheap compared to them and will get you on the road, so you can use that money saved on other parts, you may have to increase your ‘Main” jet size, as these will bring more air into your carbs, usually the rule of thumb is 2 sizes up on what you have, but an easy installation.
Makes for a great present for that gearhead in your family too.
