Genuine Honda Points assembly ( Complete) With Plate, Condensers & Points. Fits 1969-1978 SOHC 750 & 550 Models

I have always used Brand New points assembly parts that are Genuine Honda, the aftermarket ones are very weak and tend to rust, due to interior metals etc.

This set up is Genuine Honda and they are for the HONDA CB750K and CB750F but these will fit the CB550 Honda, the wires are a little shorter on the 750 if you fit to the 550 but that’s easy to change, but want you to know this is a 750 HONDA set, the 550 has a slightly different parts number, that’s because the wires to connect to the harness are longer on the 550 version.

So I stick with what works and these work so well that I dont even bother going to electronic ignition set ups as these are too reliable and, dead easy to fit to the bike.

Simply remove your location screws and fit this whole plate assemble, Set timing, I set at T1 16 Though and the same for T3 and wamo, you are all set, just tighten the screws and make sure m6 nut it tightened and just connect your points cover and you are done.

Of course you can strobe the timing if you really want to get it precise, but I must admit that I have fitted hundreds of these and not needed the strobe at all. FITS ALL SOHC MODELS 1969-1978

If you have a Clymers Manual, thats all you need to be honest and if it ran before then it will run even better with the genuine Honda set up.

Don’t buy the cheaper versions as they will rust, believe me I have been there and that will teach me for going to cheap on an ignition set up.
