HOT ROD LEATHER HOOD STRAP KIT

Many people have asked me about my Hood Straps on my Model A Roadster, so I thought it was time that I made a kit of these and make them available to you all for your rides.

These kits are great for your ride and come with all the parts needed for that Vintage Dry lake Race styling that captures the Spirit of Hot Rodding.

I will offer a Choice of Tan, Dark Brown or Black Leather straps, you simple punch the holes with the punch I supply, add hardware and the rivets screw together, as easy as that, stainless hardware too and made right here in Southern California too. A truly great kit that you simply cut and punch holes where you desire and the rivets screw together, a really classic look that never goes out of style.

I will add more photos as I go along, but these are great value for money and none of that Chinese rubbish too, made in the USA!!!!!!!

I ship globally Flat Rate and they seem to get there pretty fast too, you just cut the belts to how you want them, I have enough there for 4 belts, 2 each side of motor, simply fold over footman and using the punch that I supply, punch the hole in belt and over lap, then the rivets are a screw in, so take one apart, fit through hole that the punch made then the rivets screw together, easy.

I use Tan but if you want Dark brown I supply a bottle of leather oil than will darken them and condition them too, it takes a little time but it’s worth it and these will last a long time.

The latches are stainless steel and obviously they will not rust and look nice all the time with that old school styling that really encapsulates the yesteryear Hot Rod look.

 

I am ALSO offering a 2 Strap kit in the same colors for different set ups where there is only room for one strap each side of the Hood, just check on the drop boxes to make your choice on these sets, if they do not say 2 strap, they will be a strap or 4 belt kit.
