CB750 Seat Base

Here we are at Nostalgia Speed & Cycle and I try to bring out New products as much as I can,.

 

As the parts I make and sell- I actually use on my customers machines too.

This time I thought I would make a Stock seat base, as many of the stock seat bases that I have tried to use were rotten as an old pear.

This is a fiberglass seat base that will fit the 1969-1976 CB750K model as you can use your original hinges.

 

 

I have tested this a few times and its great, I am going to also sell these on my website as just the base and, I shall offer them on the parts page fully upholstered as a Cafe seat too, so keep checking back on here.

 

This base is sturdy and clean, I am happy with the quality and the fit and have tried to take photo’s to show how I fit one on a CB750K series SOHC HONDA.

This is perfect for Cafe Racers and restorers as the restorer can just upholster it like his original one.

This is of sturdy construction and I am now selling to a company back in Europe for their restorations, so that must be a good sign of what the seat bases are like.

 

All you need to do is drill the holes for your hinges, you can see the locations marks in my new seat base, just drill for an M6 bolt and you are ready to fit your seat base. I have now sold a few dozen of these seat bases to people all over the world, and I am stoked to inform you that people not only like the look of them, they like the weight and the way they hold up compared to many other peoples designs out there. These are now made at a pro shop, with all the modern materials you would expect and I am really happy with the end result, as I am sure that you will be too.
