Fog Light Black, 5.75 12 Volt Universal

Here at Carpys- I wanted to show you a great Fog light and I have used many times, it not only looks great, it functions as it should when weather conditions are dark, foggy or hazy, and you want to be seen out there. These are a Classic style that go back the 1950’s and Great Britain had massive Fog Banks, these lights paved the way in road safety and an iconic European style that still not only looks Nostalgic today, but still functions as a very important piece of safety equipment for your Motorcycle.

How do Fog Lights function compared to a standard headlight I hear you enquire?

By maintaining an acute angle with the ground, fog lights are able to only illuminate the road and anything close to it, allowing you to see other vehicles from their lights through the dense fog. No distracting and glaring reflection. This feature adds one more layer of safety for inclement-weather driving

Measure the distance between the center of the auxiliary light and the ground. Place a horizontal mark on the wall at that height. Visual aim is made with the top of the fog light beam 4 inches below the lamp center at 25 feet with the lamp facing straight forward.

I have always liked the Fog light as for many Years I was a Motorcycle Dispatch Rider in the City of London and all around the United Kingdom. And many times the weather was either Foggy or so hazy from misty rain, the fog light showed me the road ahead and did not dazzle on coming drivers etc.

This is a Black Steel housing that’s Painted a Gloss Black with a Protective Steel mesh Guard on the front to stop stones and any road debris from breaking the lens. It is almost 6 inches in width and height and is a great asset to your machine.
