Good For The Skin

– Working with fiberglass can be an itchy and scratchy experience. Cover your arms with baby powder before you start the job.

– Got a good cut on your hand? The best thing I have found is pour or dip the effected area into motor oil. Yes it sounds stupid but the oil reacts with the wound and will help it heal faster.

– Last but for sure not least is Super Glue. This stuff can be used on anything from a hang nail to a skin flap. Remember that Super Glue was invented during the Civil war as an alternative to sowing people up. The stuff will hold a cut closed and you can get back to work without the hassle of a bandage falling off.

Seems Like A No Brainer?

Draping a sheet or towel over your workbench area when working on something small with lots of parts that could scatter will help you to find them more easily. Leave the material loose and lumpy instead of smooth, and anything that gets dropped or falls will sit in the material instead of rolling off the bench and into a dark crevice.
