This 1972 CB500 HONDA gets a new life

I managed to locate a stock cb500 fuel tank and get it fitted on the bike, I shall repair the old Bimota fiberglass tank and will seal the inside with Caswell sealant, but for now i wanted to see if this old girl would run and ride again, it’s come a long way from England but I did forget how small this machine is, as a teenager I thought it was  a big bike lol.

I didn’t like the old gauges, so fitted a new set of 2.5 clocks with the old classic faces that reminded me of the old race bikes of the day and happy I went that way, so now the top end is de-cluttered, and it really does look better for it.

I hope to repair the fuel tank that was on it back in the late 1970’s and will write a blog on it later on in the year, so stay tuned on that, but then it will be up for sale as a fun run around bike, hope you like the little video below.
