1976 Kawasaki KZ 400 Cafe Racer Motorcycle $2300

Here we are with a Customer that is selling his little KZ400 Cafe Racer machine, a fun motorcycle with plenty of zip from the 400cc engine. This is a cheap ride to have fun on and, with the price of gasoline on the rise again, what better than to use this to commute on and have fun on the way to and from your job?

kz400a

He has been riding it consistently for the last three years without any issues. It has an electronic start and idles great. Never topped 100 with it, but never really tried to either.

KZ400b

Comes with trickle charger, but you won’t need it. He replaced a lot of the electrical parts and it holds a charge great.

kz400c

Great Cafe Racer to play around with on the weekend. No Low Ballers. Serious buyers only, please.

KZ400d

I work during the day so ill be showing the bike between 5pm-7pm on weeknights.

Drop a Dime to Garrett at (949) 584-3492 and he will tell you all you may want to know about his fun Bar Hopper.

HONDA 1978 CB750F SUPER SPORT $4300

Here we are with quite an original machine here, not too many times do you get a one owner bike and he has had this Donkeys years and, works for HONDA still.

This is a 1978 CB750F Super Sport SOHC Model, the last of the Single Over Head cams and the most desirable engines as it had a slightly different cylinder head configuration and the valve had a better angle.

1978j

This has been serviced by Honda in all its 31,000 miles and has a strong recently installed 836cc kit into her, just to make sure she has a little more power if you need to get out of trouble in todays crazy roads etc.

1978d

This is a great bike and all together, it is a genuine 31K on the clock and has all the original parts still on it, the accessories are useful too, like the rear luggage rack, as thats handy for bags and stuff when commuting, as well as a front screen to stop the buffeting and the bugs, what a deal eh?

1978g

Located in Orange County area this is a great bike the pulls like a steam train and idles lovely, due to the fact of having the earlier carbs fitted, of which I do this conversion on many Super Sports.

1978f

A very cool bike with the Original Comstar rims, this bike runs and handles so well you will love it, very strong and smooth and getting harder to locate these days.

1978i

I think it is way under priced to be perfectly honest with you but its what the Customer wants, so- a great deal for someone for sure.

1978k

A lot of machine for the money, thanks for looking, you can email me at carpy@carpyscaferacers.com or drop a Dime or text at 714-598-8392, thanks again for looking.

Royal Enfield Continental GT seats that I make.

Hey there you lot

Well its the weekend and finally got around to do a little Blog, work is busy and sometimes I simply run out of time to get on the Computer and type out a blog everyday, I do try but this week has been crazy busy.

carpy RE

Today I made a Seat for a Customer in Australia, he has a Royal Enfield Continental GT model of which I first started to make when these models first came out, and continue to make things like Seats, Chain guards and Turn signal brackets as well as coo headlights etc.

RE2

The stock seat is OK but just not big enough, I prefer to lose the rear fender/ Mudguard, although if you want, you can still fit your stock one if you so wish.

RE3

I also Frenched in a pocket for the LED Round tail light assembly that will sit snugly into that recess and this tail light is a stop-Running tail light.and to be seen is to be safe is my Motto and I am happy the way these looks when all fitted.

RE9

The Seat assembly is made from a Robust Resin and Glass-fiber, it is also gel Coated in a Gloss red to look like the Factory Red, but- You can of course always paint if you have a different color bike.

RE4

I upholster in a Black Naugahyde Material and you can choose whether you would like White Diamond stitching, Red, or Silver, as well as a choice of piping color options.

RE5

I also use the Vintage style snaps to give the seat a little more Nostalgia and the good thing about this is that you can simply pull the cover off and store your registration under the foam.

RE6

And, it is high density foam that I use, that way this is way more comfortable then the stock material that is used originally and use the same Foam in ALL my seat Products that I produce.

RE1

Also, another good thing to know is this is made by me here in California, not over sea’s, I purchased one in Vietnam just to have a look, man it didn’t even fit the frame, so a lesson there, stick with who you know and trust.

RE7

You can contact me at carpy@carpyscaferacers.com anytime or if you like you can even text me on 714-598-8392 so I can respond a little faster, I am here to help, this business is My Passion.

DSC_0058

Many thanks for looking, I hope that you may have time to check out the rest of the website and I continue to add more parts all the time, so always check back for cool deals and products.

So if you need to hop your Machine up, well, you know where to come. Thanks for Looking, Peace & Grease

New 4 into 1 Exhausts for the 500 and 550 Honda available soon

Pleased to announce a New style of 4 into 1 system for the good old Honda inline Four CB500 and the CB550, something I am happy to offer and many people asked me about.

sidewinder550h

So I went about and got it sorted, I have the prototype done and now going into production with these as I type this little write up.

sidewinder550m

I am stoked to be able to offer you these systems soon and boy do they sound great, fit well and of course, Perform all the way through the range of motion.

sidewinder550k

These are a little Powerhouse and I know you will enjoy this special system that will be made on Million Dollar tune bending machines and quality all the way with these.

sidewinder550p

Here is the other thing, these are not made over sea’s, these are made here in the USA and am proud to offer that, I am a small business and I help other local businesses, thats what keeps us all going and pleased to offer you all my USA made parts.

sidewinder550s

Below is the sidewinder fitted, I only plopped the baffle in as I will be Nickel plating that one, so as I revved it , the Baffle shot out, LOL, but you can hear what its like with no baffle, this exhaust does come with a baffle by the way and you can either Rivet it in place, or ue machine screws, your call. The Baffle does not have packing as I like it that way but, you can add glass fiber packing or steel wool if you wanted to muffle it more, but I doubt yu will as this is a crisp sound that many like.

I also offer this with 2 different tail section options, there is the Razor and the Hot Rod, you decide, below is the Razor, thats slash cut and shorter than the up sweep but a cool custom look.

sidewinder550razord

A very popular set up and easy to attach to your inline four bike, it is also louder than the up sweep tail pipe.

sidewinder550razor3

Below is the Hot Rod, this is a cool Turn out for that Old school style, something I am passionate about and I am stoked to offer this option too.

sidewinder550hotrod

Its a great set up and I make that for the 750 too but as you can see on this 550-4 it is a nice and tight set up and gives the ride a beefier look I think, hope that you like this as well.

sidewinder550hotroda

Take a look at some of the pics of the styles and make your own mind up, I enjoy what I do and like the feedback I am receiving.

sidewinder550hotrod1

Let me know your thoughts carpy@carpyscaferacers.com as input is so important from potential customers.

Here are a few pics for you to have a go through to see if you like any of the models shown for your CB500 or CB550 Four Motorcycle, thanks for taking your time to read this today.

Honda CB750 Brat Bike 1974 S.O.H.C. $3750

Sometime ago, I picked up a few old CB750’s in a job lot, amongst these 500 pounders was an old Dry Lakes racing Bike that was in a sorry state, but, never giving up, I put the bike to one side and knew this would be on my “To Do” list that I have. This is a 1974 CB750K series machine.

39

Every now and again I would do a few minutes on this old bike, I managed to get the motor to turn , so knew at least we had some sort of chance at having a go at this old Girl.

98

Well, I then stripped all the parts off that I did not need as it had a bunch of weird parts, the rear sprocket was Huge and it had a small 17 inch tire on it, the gas tanks were bolted to the frame, just old aluminum tubes with fuel lines.

I rebuilt some Carbs I had and fitted to the bike, I managed to get brand New coils etc and thought I would drain the oil to see what story we had.

The oil was Clear and still looked brand new, no discoloration at all, thats a good sign.

I removed the old seat and the frame was cut at the rear anyway so decided that for me, I shall build a little Brat style bike and have fun with it, just wanted to see what this would come out like.

61

So-I removed the wheels and used 2 new rims, laces with stainless spokes and Polished the hubs etc, next up was some cool Diamond Tires, not cheap but- had the look I was after.

The bike now has 2 rear 18 inch rims and sits so much better than before, I like the way that this bike is going, so the next job was to rebuild the front forks, as the tubes on the top were rusty and the seals were leaking badly.

18

I removed the forks, pulled the old tubes and got rid of them, purchased New fork tubes and then cleaned and polished the lowers to a chrome finish, fitted new seals and then once all put together, I fitted new dust caps and custom chrome covers too. I also used genuine Honda top Caps and O-Rings to make sure all was cohesive and am glad I went this route.

The stock carbs were totally knackered that came with the bike, so stripped, vapor blasted, Zinc Plated, Synchronized and re fitted with New jest and throttle cables etc, get the Juce to where it is supposed to go.

99

Custom Steel Dragon Airbox purchased and fitted to make sure this breathes well and it sure does.

39 101

So, to open the frame up a bit I fitted a Custom Oil tank that holds 3 Quarts of 10-40 and, holds an anti gravity 8 cell Lithium Battery and electrical, I also fitted a New solid state regulator/ rectifier and fitted under frame.

84

I custom made the Brat style seat and upholstered, then once that was sorted, I fitted new rear License plate frame and cool model A Ford tail light, both stop and tail light work great.

Fitted a Brand New 530 Custom Blue chain onto New rear sprocket and it tensioned nicely, and seems to be a smooth action when moving.

81

This bike has the very first Custom Performance Exhaust system that I am very proud to even offer on my website, this is called the “Sling Shot” it is wrapped in High temp Titanium on the headers and the rear is Chromed to a high finish with a Nickel Plated removable Baffle and, I love the sound this exhaust growls.

28

Have a look and see for yourself, a VERY tidy exhaust set up that will turn many heads for sure.

27

Fitted New Old stock Finned covers to the Motor, fitted New Clutch cable as well.

The bike also has a polished front fork brace to stiffen the front end up and a polished upper tree that also cleans up the top end.

74

You will notice the handle bars, well I designed these and had them bent up and chromed, these are very cool and European style that I grew up with back in the England, they also have Brand New Handlebar Controls and new Grips too.

100

Has a rebuilt front brake caliper with a polished Rotor, to get things stopped fast, the whole front end looks so nice compared to when I first received the motorcycle.

All the gears run smooth, I was super surprised, it was fun riding this around for sure.

Only thing I can see is she does puff a little white smoke out of the breather, but- this has not run in 31 years so rings may need to bed in a bit.

Starts right away on starter or on kicker too.

Have a look and see what you think, very cool ride for sure.

58

A Fun ride for someone for sure. over $4200 in parts alone, so a steal at this price, you just add your touches like paint the gas tank or just have fun with it as it is.

If you want to know what Parts I have fitted, here is a list of the things below:

This has NO- Title I haven’t got round to it and thats why this is priced accordingly as I have other projects I need to get done and finished.

A super platform Brat that I am sure can have more tricks added , like you can paint the gas tank, oh by the way, has New petcock and fuel lines too.

Located in La Mirada, you can pick up, I can deliver up to 30 miles for a fee but thats up to you.

I am going to add some more photos to help you get a better idea of what I did.

Enjoy

If you are interested text me on 714-598-8392 or call if you so wish, also- you can email me at 714-598-8392

My Honda SOHC 4 into 1 exhausts

Hey Everyone

A few people email me asking for sound samples of the exhausts etc, sometimes I keep them on file but after a while I tend to lose the files somewhere in the vastness of Computer space and never get them back.

So today I shall add a few sound bytes that I have done over the years to try and help just a little as to what my Exhaust systems sound like on these inline Fours.
Been doing these over 17 years here now and am very proud of that fact, none of that china stuff many others use, and then say its theirs and made in USA, all made right here in Anaheim California.

OK-if you need more information, you can email me on carpy@carpyscaferacers.com or if you like, you can drop a text to me or a Dime for that matter at 714-598-8392 and I am more than willing to help you out if you need photos or info for the 4 into 1 system of mine. Also check out ALL the exhausts on the parts page too.
Enjoy.

That was a 1978 Super Sport and the next one up is an earlier model that you can sample on here.
Next up a K4 model.

Here is a K6-K6 Model with the Yoshimura style 4 into 1 system of mine on it.

Below a customers video.

Below is another exhaust system from me but this time its for a CB350 and CB400, now this has a Fully packed baffle, a little too muffled for my liking, but it is what the Customer wanted.

A little louder version and this bike had not run in years and was first start up too.

Another Raw steel one but this time on a CB400-4, this sounds pretty good for a bike that had not been fired up in many many years.

Another Customers video of my exhaust on his CB550 Honda.

This is a customer video, not sure if he has the baffle but still great to hear.

Here we have a CB750 that a Customer had made a video of, with my pipe, see what you think, sounds crisp eh?

Here is one of my Custom versions, the Razor and the Hot Rod as well as the Sidewinder.

Many moons ago I built the F-Bomb and it sure was too!
Hold your ears for this exhaust system I made.

HONDA CB750 BRAT BIKE

Well, here we are with a 1974 Honda CB750 SOHC model that was turned into an old Land Speed dry lakes Racing bike many many moons ago, but have no real history documentation of what it achieved back in the day etc, but- you can be sure that someone thought long and hard as to what they may do with it.

Last year this was a total mess, it was too dangerous to even attempt to ride, so, it sat for some time in the corner of the shop of mine, until such time as I thought that it needed to have a new lease of life and restyle this inline four 500 pounder into something a little cooler.

As you can see by the photos below, it was not much of a looker but- it did intrigue me to see to what lengths people would go to with these iconic Honda Fours, and I just let this bike sit until I decided it was indeed time to resurrect this sleeping giant. I removed the Old wheel and Built 2 Brand New Rims, with Polished Hubs and Stainless Steel Spokes, Both 18 inch rims.

18

So, time has gone by and over the past few weeks I have changed a number of things and I am sure that you will notice a difference right away, this is NO show point for sure, I just went ahead and changed a few bits and bobs as I pulled the old rusty and non usable parts off and either refurbished, remade or purchased New parts to slowly transform this inline 4 into a cool looking Bar hopper Brat style machine.

Below is the bike with another Gas tank, fitted with a New OEM genuine Honda Petcock, then I have totally rebult the old carbs, vapor blasted and rejetted them to the pipe, the parts taken off were zinc plated, polished and re-assembled.

20

Some of you may not even like what I am creating here, that’s fine as we all have our own tastes, but, if you are reading this, then of course, you must be into seeing what is becoming of this Single Over head cam Motorcycle. I wanted a Brat style machine and every few days at a New part, some of the work I have created has taken many hours and sometimes days to get it right.

22

Just have a look at the front forks compared to the old ones, as I took them apart. cleaned everything internally, then Polished the lowers, fitted New genuine Honda Fork seals and then Brand New Chrome Fork upper tubes, with New springs and caps etc, I also set the pre-load with stainless washers, just like back in the old days of racing.

sling shot1

I also cut the back of the old frame rails as they were not good anyway, and then I made my Own steel Hoop and shortened the chassis to give the bike a lower looking stance, Whilst I was at it, I also fitted a Custom Oil Tank that I sell on my website, this Oil tank holds 3 Quarts and has a battery Compartment where I have fitted an Anti-Gravity 8 cell battery pack and managed to fit some of the electrical in there too.

slingshot 5

Also you can see that I made a seat pan and upholstered it with cool Old School style Diamond Stitching, this looks pretty cool and am surprised how comfortable the seat is, and just have a look at how much this bike has changed since I first acquired it, I have fitted new Diamond Treaded Firestone Tires to match the seat and both Rims are 18 inch and make the bike sit so much better than the stock configuration.

sling shot9

I am still working on this and not sure on a price, No title for it but will come with a Bill of sale when completed, I also will be adding a few videos for you to look around later and also then I will have another Video of the bike running, that way you can hear this amazing exhaust system.

A few months ago I got this running and I loved the sound when I had the raw steel exhaust on, this now has a high performance exhaust system and is look really cool.
