Recently, Widow Makers presented a sneak preview of what to expect from us to those who attended the famous ‘Ton Up Day’ event held at Jack’s Hill Cafe in Towcester, Northamptonshire. Widow Makers showed illustrations completed together with our merchandise and following a very successful day a number of new commissions have been requested.

Whilst attending the event, Stuart from Widow Makers and Creative Beast worked with Tom White at Black Rock Creative who filmed the finishing touches of a promotional video for Widow Makers showing the presentation of an illustration completed just days previously to Johnny ‘Chester’ Dowling – the culmination of days of planning, drawing, filming & tea-drinking – we hope that you agree that the illustration is a fitting tribute to what is a lovely machine and that the video captures the essence of a bygone era of motorcycling.

Widow Makers was so happy with the video that we couldn’t wait to show it to you all – we hope you love it as much as we do !

Widow Makers would like to thank the following: Jacks Hill Cafe- Towcester, Davida Helmets, Pure Triumph Motorcycles Wellingborough, Royal Enfield, Haywards Cambridge, The Rapiers, Fury Records

Cherry’s Company – BMW R nineT Highway Fighter

I must admit, this bike really does stop you in your tracks when you see it, I am amazed at the sheer brilliance of architecturally sculptured pieces work so well on the motorcycle.

Just look at the whole set up, it is such a stealthy machine and god enough for even a movie prop, and i would definatly sling my leg over this steed and see what it can do.

Just begging to have its neck rung out on a freeway and I love everything about this machine from Color to Contour.

I am at a loss for words right now and thats a rare thing in itself.

It is not until you look closely at the detail and of course the fit of the parts that makes you grin from ear to ear.

I love the seat, I have made some with tail lights like this but this is sure a thing of beauty!

For six months, four of Japan’s top custom workshops have been tearing down and rebuilding BMW’s R nineT roadster.

Shiro Nakajima vs Brat Style vs Hidemo vs Cherry’s Company.

You can check out all 4 of the final designs on BikeEXIF. They’re all lovely, but Cherry’s Company’s bike takes the cake. OMFG it’s off the tap! We love it!

Kaichiroh Kurosu

He is a motorcycle custom builder, who has dealt with Harley Davidsons for over 20 years

With his thorough and exhaustive knowledge of the mechanics behind motorcycles,

as well as his exceptional skills that he has cultivated from his experiences, he has produced exceptional works.

His strict and absolute attitude towards making motorcycles accepts no compromise and has been perceived with the highest regards in his field.

In recent years, his range of works has grown significantly, and includes domestic brands as well as foreign brands such as BMW.

I think this is something me and Dakota may be able to build in a slightly more Affordable build but this is just great to keep looking at.

Its tough yet elegant and a real work of art, so many hours of fitting to get the aesthetics bang on!

I love thew fairing, it maye be vacuumed but I would like to see it in metal on another ride. Still kicks arse!

Modern set up is so key these days, I am now getting into a few GPS set up gauges and they look vintage too.

Love that megaphone jutting out like a shot gun, just killer details.

So much to look at so I will not waffle on and just let you enjoy these shots.

I would love to rip this on that Runway as I am sure its fast and wonder how she handles?

The names will be familiar to most readers—Shiro Nakajima, Brat Style, Hidemo and Cherry’s Company—but until now, the R nineT Custom Project bikes have been hidden behind closed doors.

The results are being revealed this very minute by BMW design chief Ola Stenegärd at the BMW Motorrad Days in Nagano, and we’ve got exclusive images of the builds right here.

It’s a masterclass in the art of customizing bikes, and proof that the Japanese builders are in a league of their own. The craftsmanship, styling and sheer creativity on show is remarkable.

Cool Rockers Videos

Well, MONDAY already- So to ease the day in, I thought I would add some video’s that I watched over the Sunday, this really is just a amalgamation of videos from people and it shows some very cool early 1960’s Videos of Rockers on their bike at places like Box hill etc and banging the Ton on a busy A- Road back home in the UK.

Other videos have Rockers in the Uk and cover to the other side of the Globe in Hong Kong.

The Cafe Racer scene has grown and grown and it is a good thing, Motorcycling has become fun again and the camaraderie has also returned.

Make a cup of Tea, sit down and just spend a few moments watching some of the videos, there is some very cool footage here and I am sure that you will enjoy at least one of them.

Have a great week and enjoy…………..

DIME CITY POPS INTO SEE ME

Hey Gang

Well just a short one today as I have a lot on my plate this week, but had a great surprise visit from Jason Paul Michael s of Dime City Cycles in Florida and Cafe Racer TV fame.

Its always a good time to meet and have a quick chin-wag about the life and times of Cafe Racer builders etc.

This time we helped him out a little bit and made a side stand for one of their machines, Dakota was there to have a go with his welding skills and he was stoked to meet Jason and the gang.

Hope to go and stay with them in Florida at some point and enjoy the lifestyle down there with them at DIME CITY CYCLES.

TRITON CAFE RACER BUILT BACK HOME By: MADE IN METAL

I saw this on the net on Bike Glams page and had to share it, as this has to be seen to get the day off to the right start.

The Iconic Cafe Racer has to be the Triton, a working class Racer with all the cool parts to make it go and stop and turn more heads than a naked model on rollerskates.

These has many cool parts and I love those exhausts, just pure sex.

Triton Custom Motorcycle by Made In Metal

Triton is a Classic British cafe racer. Different variations are fairly common, but now propose to evaluate the magnificent Triton, built by British experts workshop “Made in Metal “in Staffordshire, England. They used Triumph T150 engine and frame Norton Wideline Featherbed.

Neil Adams and Paul Stead are the masters of the highest level. Each of the project is worthy of special attention, and this bike is not an exception. Without a doubt, the British succeeded in creating one of the best newts, and in all respects: Layout, design, installation, craft unique items, etc.

Polished to perfection, this is not just a Cafe Racer of yester year, but a work of bloody art.

Triton Cafe Racer front above veiw

This not only looks the dog’s wobblies, it handles like a race bike and the dampners really stop all that wobble at the front when you are hard into a corner, and what I would give to be able to ring ths gooses neck out and see how she handles.
