DONKEY PUNCH !!!!!!

Here we go with another build, this one is just to see what we come out with and really, I have no idea in what direction this will be entering, bit like a DONKEY PUNCH !!!!!

So stay tuned, this may take some time as I am going to build this, along with my young mechanic, and see if we can stir the pot a bit and see what happens.

Well, this is a stock frame at the moment, we shall remove all the lugs and anything that protudes on the outside of the chassis, and grind to a smooth finish.

The frame was marked so if I left the shop, the young lad ” Dakota” can get on with cutting the frame and smoothing it as I instructed, and of course, he can use his own initiative if I am stuck doing other things, as that’s the whole part of having a good team and I am getting close to that now.

Here below, ” Dakota ” cuts his teeth on building a Cafe Racer motorcycle, this is going to be a fun project for sure.

I have now taken this to the bead blasters, to get all the paint off and get her ready to prep for paint.

GREENDAYS MIKE DIRNT CB750 CAFE RACER

Here we are with a great old Style Cafe Racer that I built for Mike Dirnt, the infamous bass player for the Bay Area Punk Band, GREEN DAY.

This bike was built by my and designed by Mike, and we went ahead and knocked this ball out of the park, and, I created this at home in my old garage at home.

This was a Stock 1971 CB750 that belonged to a really good buddy of mine who used to live in Costa mesa but moved to Arizona, so, a 7 hour drive and then a purchase of the stock bike and then hauled back here to So Cal was done and then, I began the transformation of what you now see here now.

VINTAGE CUFFED JEANS I HAVE DESIGNED

Hey All

Well, people asked me about some of the Apparel I wear and of course, I have always been into the Old style Brando image, 501 style of cuffed denim has always been a cool look, and I decided it was time to come up with a cool set of threads for everyday wear.

These Nostalgia Jeans are Rugged, yet comfortable and have all the traits of a Vintage jean, as I have used Vintage material, and to make sure these are bang on- I even have a cool selvidge line running on the Cuff, as the 40’s and 50’s jeans had.

These have belt loops and maybe a cinch back buckle too for that added look of yesteryear.

Strong twine gold stitching gives it that Big E style of Levi look, and these are riveted as well to keep the same look as the Original Denim I used to love wearing.

Button fly keep the Vintage style there and I have  to say, even the pockets feel right and I have test run my own pair and give them the big thumbs up.

I have had many enquiries on these jeans, I am now going into production and as you will see, these are a really cool and Original looking pair of Old style Cuffed jeans, you do not have to roll the cuff if you don’t wish too, but that’s how I like these and many others do and hope you get a kick out of this style too.

If you are looking for a Brando style jean?    Look no further as these are Hand made and YES- Made in the USA in L.A.

OFF TO CAR SHOW IN TEHACHAPIE THIS WEEKEND.

OK, not much on here just yet, but- I shall be heading off to Tehachapie to a Street Rod and Custom show, always great to meet other clubs and cool venues etc.

But I shall take a bunch of photo’s to share with you lot and you can see what is around the central part of where I am located, as its about a 2.5 hour drive, the sun is already out, its humid as boxers made of plastic and I am only just about to leave.

On the way there I stopped off and had to take a photo or two of the Pick up that was sat outside an old Pawn shop in Bakersfield.

This had more bullet holes in it than the Alamo and must of had more lead in it than a Church stained glass window display.

Seen better days, but love seeing stuff like this when I am on the road, and it amazes me still to see any vintage stuff sitting anywhere anymore.

I think the guy knows nobody will tow this cab away, as it will more than likely fall apart as soon as they attach a tow line to it.

This has an Autolite head, and to be honest- I haven’t seen one of these before, only distributors and coils.

I got to Tehachapie and 300 cars turned up from all around the area, a really good and fun turn out and the mood of the whole day was great, music, cars and food was the order of the day.

What I loved about this Annual event is that at about mid-day, everybody fires up their engines and revs the crap out of them for a few minutes, all you can hear is motors from straight sixes to full blown Nascar big blocks screaming, a super idea for any car show, they call this” Thunder in the Mountain” And if you are out this way next year, ya gotta come and check the show out.

The good thing about having this show is that you have all sorts of styles and colors, and you never know what might be there, I was surprised by many cool rides t be honest.

This pick up was cleaner than any cats ARSE and he built this in his garage at home.

UGG BOOT SHOOT, CAFE RACERS

Hey Gang

I was lucky to be involved with UGG BOOT in Australia, got a call to turn up with some bikes and gear and spend the day in Pasadena at a cool old Villa.

A great day out and had a blast with the rest of the lads.

This should be on the UGG website and I think on a big bill board somewhere around the globe.

It is so cool to see motorcycles in adverts at any time and we really did all have a brilliant time hanging out.

A nice day for the shoot and plenty of cool bikes to look at too.

We had a blast and spent about 6 hours there and enjoyed the whole time with everyone.

Black and whites always look cool and from the period.

The Girl was flown in from Germany and the Guy was flown in from Spain.

Spent the whole day in Pasadena and enjoyed every minute.

Hope to be used by this company again later in the year.
