Iron and Air magazine number 7 now available.

Hey Gang,

Grab issue number 7, I have it in the store or you can get it from our site, super people and they have a real passion for what we do. CLICK HERE TO ADD IT TO YOUR CART!

I met these lot at Turn 17 at the Barber Motorsport weekend in Alabama last year and they go above and beyond n what they do.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=391439017617297&set=a.182839115143956.41705.165773990183802&type=1&theater

These are really good quality magazines, super photography and of course, great reading, many new builders out there to read about and generally how the whole lifestyle has evolved over the last few years.

Over 113 pages of cool informative material to check out and I believe that this is a magazine for people like us and I am sure this will get bigger and better with each issue.

This is hard to put down, so make sure you have a wee bit of time put by when this plops through your door.

Then maybe my Lad will get back to bloody work !!!!

Another day at the shop

Here we are halfway through the week and I have many ends to tie up, so a busy time in the back to clear some long term stuff out.

This little 1972 Needed to have some electrical done and she will be fired up and running by tomorrow and up for sale, this has an Original Read Titan 5 Gall0n Gas Tank and seat, as well as one of our Ton Up 4 into 1 Exhaust systems too.

A little more work to do here, as this came in with some issues, and of course, it’s electrical and have had no choice but to take it all apart and see where the issue is with this fault.

But I shall remove the whole wire harness and fit another one to rectify this problem once and for all.

This wire harness had more knicks in it than your chin, when using a cheap razor, but i will get this sorted out and make sure the customer is happy with the result.

Sometimes, the ONLY way to go is to replace the system if you have too many problems and this was such as the case and be easier to problem solve now I have this fitted to the bike.

The Sun is out today and I can get on with a few of the longer terms bikes as I have a few other idea’s I may be doing later on, and before I can address them, I need to work late and get all these other jobs completed.

Staying focused today, and hope to tear through as much as I can and create some more space at the workshop, before I take on any more stuff.

Shop is full right now and thought I would share some of the day with you, via this blog.

Quick Tour of where the Cafe Racers are Created.

This is just a quick tour of the back of the shop and where the Cafe Racers are created, I thought we would use the little camera and try the video mode, and it came out quite well really.
So, turn the volume up and have a look at a little bit of my world and hope you like it?

We have abut an 8000 foot shop and the back is about 5000 of that where we have parts/inventory as well as a few bike lifts, work benches and shelving and that’s where some of the magic is done and many of you don’t see that, a little later on I shall be making more videos to share with you on this website, so stay tuned to that.

I wanted to just walk around the rear of the workshop for 5 minutes or so on a Sunday, so we can show you a little more of the Cafe Racer side this time, as we get many emails asking us about a quick tour of the shop, and this is a good opportunity to share a little bit of the Speed Shop with you all.

GRAND NATIONAL ROADSTER SHOW 25th,26th and 27th January.

Hope to have it finished for the show, many parts on this machine are original and over 30 years old, a time machine brought back to life and I hope you like it as much as I have been creating it.

Be great to meet some of the people that phone or email us from all over the globe, hope you can make it there?

Soon as I know what building we are in, I shall let you know.

FRIDAY IS ALREADY HERE

Hey Gang

Well Friday is here and we are getting ready for the weekend, we have Free coffee at the shop and when people pop in from the donut derilics meet in the mornings they hang out here a wee bit.

This morning I managed to complete a CB500 service that needed New Signals , and we cut the exhaust off as it had a Mac canister on the thing and it turned out pretty cool.

Customer was really happy and the bike not only looks good, it runs better and of course has turn signals that are not ugly, yet function well.

Friday is a good, but busy day and we have just started to add more and more to the website, it will also become a more navigational site with all sorts of goodies, with a Hot Rod and street rod page, covering every thing you need for your classic ride and of course the Cafe Racer site will have the same but catering for the 2 wheeled variety and, variety is the spice of life, so expect a ton of spices to be appearing in the next few weeks.

So check every day as we will be adding parts EVERY single day on here to make sure we cater for everybody.

We sell everything for the Hot Rodder, Street Rodder, and even the Classic Car enthusiast too.

We have just started to make more swing arms as we have Just packed the last 2 in stock, so no worries, they will be completed soon.

Keep checking the site as MANY things will be added and there will be all sorts of cool stuff, video’s FAQ’s and readers rides too.

HONDA CB500 CB550 CB750 GAS CAP

Here is the real deal right here, this is a Chrome Gas cap for the Honda CB lines and I always use these Genuine parts to set off my Gas tanks once I have finished painting them etc.

If you are building your machine, or even just revamping her, this always looks cool, functions very well and of course, does not leak like the worn out one does.

Every time I need to paint a Petrol tank, I  reach for one of these and also the latch assembly too, of which I sell on this site as well.

New products coming out.

Here at the shop we are coming out with a few New designs and look forward to seeing them on our and your Motorcycles and Hot Rods, so keep staying tuned to the site, as we shall be adding as we go along.

Some of the parts I have talked about and now are starting to manufacture, so the New 4 into 2 Exhaust system is being Jigged up and that will be a great looking system with bags of Nostalgia for sure.

Plus we are almost ready wit the Wilwood brake set up and the 4 pot set up is a sturdy and professional set up that will increase your stopping power emmensly.

I have a brand New Electrical repair kit now available on the site, and that is something I pretty much use EVERY day.

We also have a New sturdy and polished Aluminum Front Fork brace and thats a Must with no fender on the crazy roads of today.

Also I have many other parts available for the Motorcycle side of the shop like throttle cables, clutch cables, solenoids, levers, ground straps etc.

So, keep checking the website for the Cafe Racer parts as well as Hot Rod parts too and will keep adding new parts for you to look at.

We are selling many  Corvair reversed Steering boxes at the moment for $195 !!! What a steal.
