RPM NATIONALS SANTA MARGARITA RANCH WAS A BLAST

Well, what can I say, I had no idea what this place looked like, other than a few internet pics, but Jenn and I loaded up our Van and headed off to Pismo Beach, as that is where we would hook up our Van in the RV park, pull out our Triumphs and ride to Santa Margarita ranch, where they are holding the RPM Nationals.

Now this was going to be a place I had hoped to drive my 1928 Model A Roadster to, but it has so many teething issues, it just would not of made the trip, so this year I wanted to at least attend and support this great Nostalgic Drag race event.

Originally used for the Four Banger Fords, they thought they would extend this out to the flatheads and boy am I glad that they did, as what a joyous sound.

So, after 3 and half hours, we pulled up to Pismo Beach and plugged the Coffee Maker in and had a Brew, unloaded bikes and whilst I was amazed how foggy it was, it did not deter us in the least.

To be honest, it reminded me of home and I wanted Jennifer to experience some colder riding conditions and we got some big time, the Fog was indeed Pea soup, Thicker than Anderson’s Soup thats just down the road from Pismo.

But I had a Fog light and we were all set to go first thing in the morning, sure enough, the Mist rolled in and stayed longer than a relative you dont like.

We jumped onto our steeds and rode to the Madonna Inn and had brekky, great place and so much history, if you get a chance, pop in as they have so many cool things to see, from hand carved doors and ceilings in wood, to Themed rooms from a Stage Coach room to a Rock room, all very cool not cheap but what an experience.

14

So after having breakfast, blocking their crapper, we hastily headed North to Rancho Santa Margarita Ranch, we rode though the fog and then after a few miles the Sun was out, the roads were smooth and a smile on both our faces as we cruised around 75 MPH with open faced skid lids, what a great day already I muttered to myself.

3

Before too long we had gotten off the main road and into a few country roads, with Trees changing color as Autumn took an abrupt hold over this way, we cruised into the start of this Great Big Ranch, that was out of some Bonanza Episode, well it looked like it to me.

17

Cattle grids, Bridges, Old rail Road Lines were all over this place, we slowed right down along the road on the Ranch as there was a herd of Cows just sat by a tree and across the old rail Road lines, fearing we would get stampeded on, we rode past as quiet as could be, hard to do on 2 Triumphs though but we got passed and to our surprise, they just stayed their grazing, as if we were not even there.

44

We pulled up at the Parking area and I could smell that wonderful internal Combustion engine aroma, then I could hear some Flatheads revving then letting go of the clutch and banging on down the Drag strip that was laid out.

23

There were vendors along one side of the track and on the other was the swap meet, what cool stuff to see.

29

Here are a few pictures I took with my Iphone, I did take more with my SLR but will blog that another day.

Some very cool stuff to look at, what an awesome event and was stoked that I attended the RPM Nationals, looks like it will be the start of bigger things to come.

I sure wanted to bring My 28 Roadster- but it was not running right and its a 4 hour drive but next year I hope to make it.

34

An assortment of cool rides to look at whilst in between rounds, this was up at the end of the strip where the Pits were.

35

Above, I loved this 3 window just bloody gorgeous in its Drab attire, killer machine for me right there.

36

Above- How tough is that, what is not to like about it and so many great vehicles here and everybody was brilliant to talk to and had time for you.

38

Flatty Powered 29 Roadster with Q/C and Zoomies, it was quick too.

39

Simular to my 28 but a way cooler built version, high Boy with its 4 Banger and this was quick, the Bangers were faster than the flatheads, it was a solid built Hot Rod for sure.

40

Everything was so cool on the A-Bone, loved the louvered panel, the Q/C and the Tonneau cover too .

41

Our Mate Jay Dean from Nostalgia Ranch with his Flattie powered Modified, was a fun and period built machine.Hop Up Magazine Special.

Back in 1941 there was this Classic.

Fats Domino Passes away.

A sad day for Rock N Roll.

Pianist who sold 110m records including Blueberry Hill was ‘warm, fun-loving, spiritual, creative and humble – you don’t get more New Orleans than that’

Fats Domino, the amiable rock’n’roll pioneer whose steady, pounding piano and easy baritone helped change popular music while honoring the traditions of the New Orleans, died on Tuesday. He was 89.
fats3

Mark Bone, chief investigator with the Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, coroner’s office, said Domino died of natural causes at 3.30am on Tuesday.

In appearance, he was no Elvis Presley. He stood 5ft 5in and weighed more than 200lb, with a wide, boyish smile and a haircut as flat as an album cover. But Domino sold more than 110m records, with hits including Blueberry Hill, Ain’t It a Shame and other standards of rock’n’roll.

His dynamic performance style and warm vocals drew crowds for five decades. One of his show-stopping stunts was playing the piano while standing, throwing his body against it with the beat of the music and bumping the grand piano across the stage.

Domino’s 1956 version of Blueberry Hill was selected for the Library of Congress’s National Recording Registry of historic sound recordings worthy of preservation. The preservation board noted that Domino insisted on performing the song despite his producer’s doubts, adding that Domino’s “New Orleans roots are evident in the Creole inflected cadences that add richness and depth to the performance”.

fats4

Domino became a global star but stayed true to his hometown, where his fate was initially unknown after Hurricane Katrina struck in August 2005. It turned out that he and his family were rescued by boat from his home, where he lost three pianos and dozens of gold and platinum records, along with other memorabilia.

Many wondered if he would ever return to the stage. Scheduled to perform at the New Orleans jazz and heritage festival in 2006, he simply tipped his hat to thousands of cheering fans.

Birth Name: Fats Domino
Date of birth:
Birth Country: United States
Height: 5 Feet 4 Inch
Birth Sign: aquarius
Age:   89 Years

He got married to Rosemary and spent almost sixty years with her. He loved his wife so much but his marriage ended after the death of her beloved wife in 2008 due to her poor health. The couple had eight children together named as Antonette,  Andrea,  Anatole,  Andre, Adonica, and Antoine III. After the death of her, he is single now. In August 2005, the couple experienced the mighty Hurricane Katrina together. He could not leave his house because of the poor health of his wife Rosemary. His house was in the worst affected area. Many thought that he was dead but he and his family were rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter.Fats Domino full name Antoine “Fats” Domino, Jr. is an American pianist and singer-songwriter. He became one of the first rock-and-roll stars and who helped define the New Orleans sound. He was born on February 26, 1928 in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States and he was raised there. His father was well- known violinist. His family was of French Creole background. He was one of his nine siblings. He is American and is of five feet and four inches tall.

fats1

One of the most rock and roll artists of 20th, His musical style is based on traditional rhythm and blues ensembles of bass, piano, electric guitar, drums, and saxophone. His current net worth is estimated as 8 million dollars.

In May 2007, he was back, performing at Tipitina’s music club in New Orleans. Fans cheered and some cried as Domino played I’m Walkin’, Ain’t It a Shame, Shake, Rattle and Roll, Blueberry Hill and a host of other hits.

That performance was a highlight during several rough years. After losing their home and almost all their belongings to the floods, his wife of more than 50 years, Rosemary, died in 2008.

“Fats embodies everything good about New Orleans,” his friend David Lind said in a 2008 interview. “He’s warm, fun-loving, spiritual, creative and humble. You don’t get more New Orleans than that.”

The son of a violin player, Antoine Domino Jr was born on 26 February 1928, to a family that grew to include nine children. As a youth, he taught himself popular piano styles ragtime, blues and boogie-woogie after his cousin left an old upright in the house. Fats Waller and Albert Ammons were early influences.

fats5

He quit school at age 14, and worked days in a factory while playing and singing in local juke joints at night. In 1949, Domino was playing at the Hideaway Club for $3 a week when he was signed by Imperial record company.

He recorded his first song, The Fat Man, in the back of a tiny French Quarter recording studio.

“They call me the Fat Man, because I weigh 200 pounds,” he sang. “All the girls, they love me, ’cause I know my way around.”

In 1955, he broke into the white pop charts with Ain’t It a Shame but actually sang the lyrics as “ain’t that a shame”. The song was covered blandly by Pat Boone as Ain’t That a Shame and rocked out years later by Cheap Trick. Domino enjoyed a parade of successes through the early 1960s, including Be My Guest and I’m Ready. Another hit, I’m Walkin,’ became the debut single for Ricky Nelson.

fats6

Domino appeared in the rock’n’roll film The Girl Can’t Help It and was among the first black performers to be featured in popular music shows, starring with Buddy Holly and the Everly Brothers. He also helped bridge rock’n’roll and other styles, even country/western, recording Hank Williams’s Jambalaya and Bobby Charles’s Walkin’ to New Orleans.

Like many of his peers, Domino’s popularity tapered off in the 1960s as British and psychedelic rock held sway.

Domino told Ebony magazine that he stopped recording because companies wanted him to update his style.

“I refused to change,” he said. “I had to stick to my own style that I’ve always used or it just wouldn’t be me.”

fats8

Antoine and Rosemary Domino raised eight children in the same ramshackle neighborhood where he grew up, but they did it in style in a white mansion, trimmed in pink, yellow and lavender. The front double doors opened into an atrium with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and ivory dominoes set in a white marble floor.

In 1988, all of New Orleans seemed to be talking about him after he reportedly paid in cash for two Cadillacs and a $130,000 Rolls-Royce. When the salesman asked if he wanted to call his bank about financing, Domino smiled and said, “I am the bank.”

In 1998, he became the first purely rock’n’roll musician to be awarded the National Medal for the Arts. But he cited his age and didn’t make the trip to the White House to get the medal from President Clinton.

That was typical. Aside from rare appearances in New Orleans, he dodged the spotlight in his later years, refusing to appear in public or even to give interviews.
I remember watching this TV Documentary back in England in 1988, Jools Holland who to me is probably the BEST pianist of MY time, went to New orlans to seek out Fats Domino and managed to sit and play the Piano for a short period, and at $4.00 a Second it was worth every Penny.

CRASH HELMETS- How people make theirs Different.

Happy Tuesday

1

Quick Blog today

2

As its 106 degrees and I have to do some welding too, some days its just not fair but there ya go, so I thought I would add a little Humor to the page today with a little Blog on Crash helmets, Skid Lids, Brain Buckets, what ever you lot want to call them, we mostly all have to wear them, except for Nevada I know but over here in So Cal we do.

3

So-here are some crackers that may make you smile today, I know that made me laugh as I added these to my files and thought what better way to get the day going by, then to add these.

4

Some I like and would wear, the Full face above is cool and still available at some retail stores, very Stealthy and compact, loved it.

5

This Shark is great, always loved the Camo stuff since I was in the Royal Anglian Regiment and thought this was pretty cool and again, still available today.

6

Anyone for Tennis, some one has lost their Balls if they are wearing this on the road, havent seen one about anywhere to be honest.

6

This Bandit full face looks like it has had a Punch right up the Hooter, Bloody awful looking thing.

7

I like this, whether it means Danger, Hazardous, or Toxic, this is a great and easy design that says it all.

8Custom Crash Helmets are always cool to see and very individualistic, this must get many looks when they are stopped at a major traffic light in the town center on a Saturday Morning.

9I really like the simplicity of this and Orange and Black goes surprisingly well together , yet to see this on the freeways but I am sure at some point I will as its pretty darn cool.

10

This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, how frigging cool is this, I would wear it for sure, not sure how long until the Old Bill would pull me over but a head turner for sure.

11

Something a little different too, I am sure many a Car driver will stop and their eyes widen when they see this next to them in the street, very cool indeed.

12

This is another cool one to wear on Halloween night, riding around with maybe a neon light under it with some dry ice fog belching out underneath it.

12

Looks a cool idea but not much vision out of that eh?

13                                               You stop and have a double take when you see this coming down the road at night, bad ass and looks the part for sure.

14

Neat, smooth and very cool, see a few of these about and they get people looking out of the corner of their eye when stopped at a T Junction in Town.

16

I have seen a few of these about but they need the whole costume to pull the effect off though.

19Custom painted or wrapped Helmets are very popular right now and have seen some great stuff, but never have enough time to get my phone out to take a picture of them though.

20Clowns are really popular too and this is pretty scary, I wouldnt like to look in my Mirror at night and see this thing pulling up behind you on an old back road with no light poles anywhere.

21Pretty effective this Skull design, a lot of time must of gone into these paint jobs and it sure shows it, some clever designers out there taking advantage of their skills, and why not indeed.

22

I’d wear this to shoot down to the shops or something on Halloween, thats pretty cool looking, hope I see something like this on the road next week.

23

More Crazy Clown stuff, I think we shall start to see a lot of these designs coming out as a mainstream Crash helmet by the big guns soon as they really are becoming sort after these days.

24This is very cool and very detailed, has a great depth to it, I am sure this was not cheap to do but it sure is effective and hope to see this somewhere like the Sema Show Next month.

25                                                                                                   Now that really is plain weird, bet you cannot stop looking at it though?

28Some talented people out there and sure will start seeing many more one off custom Skid Lids at the shows and the events that we attend during the year, love to see these Custom lids.

29

This will be popular next month for sure, get your Nan to crochet you a Santa hat for your Lid and a beard to match, easy to do but really effective whilst riding down the road at night.

27

No idea whats going on here but a lot of work to get this to come out like that, wonder if the Visor will still function as a one piece, looks like that it might do, very strange but cool art.

18

Just when you have seen it all eh? Get someone in your family this for a Christmas gift and watch your Nan’s face when they reveal the gift they have been given, Classic!

26

Thanks for looking today, have a great Tuesday.

Old sweet shops, Great Memories

Well, being English and growing up as a teenager in the 70’s, well, you can imaging how much of a treat it would of been to buy something in the local sweet shop.

Every town and village had them and the world changed to slow motion when you walked across the threshold of one of these establishments.

the Smell of all that Chocolate, the Fizz Bombs, the Shrimp soft candy, the pearl drops, Sherbert Dips, it was all so very cool but colorful.

It really was like falling into the back yard of Willy Wonka’s.

Kids today will never get it, as everything is all there and cheap today, but I remember going up to the counter and proudly asking for one or two of each like a couple of Bazooka Joe Bubblegum’s, then some white mice, Cola Bottles, Black jacks, Fruit Salads and maybe a small tube of Smarties.

All plopped into a white paper bag and rushed home to sit and eat these whilst i read a copy of the Dandy or The Beano.

Fun times and things you really appreciated, I thought the shops would be long gone and, many are, but some have been turned into Museums and how cool would it be to check this place out?

This place is located in Bristol and if you get a chance, go check it out.

ADDRESS: Oakham Treasures, Oakham Farm, Portbury Lane, Portbury, Bristol BS20 7SP | TEL: 01275 375 236

Oakham Treasures is the demonstration of one man’s passion for collecting memorabilia throughout his lifetime. The owner, Keith Sherrell, born in 1939, is a 5th generation West Country Farmer, and began collecting farm machinery in the 60’s as a sideline to his business of buying and selling used farm machinery. As Keith says, ‘I started buying a bit more, and selling a bit less. The things I really loved I kept and it went on from there’.

4

More recently, Keith turned his interest into the retail area, and has steadily built up a huge and varied museum across all aspects of the old high street including an old grocery store, haberdashery, hardware store, chemist, tobacconist, off licence, and sweet shop.

5

Keith has spent years travelling the country visiting auctions, seeking out nuggets for his museum. He is also an avid eBay surfer and as his reputation has spread he has purchased more and more artefacts through word of mouth and regular contacts.

6

Keith runs the museum with his wife Frances, and 3 daughters, Ruth, Helen and Diana. Amazingly, no outside help has been drafted in to create or run the museum. Keith and his 3 farm hands painstakingly catalogued and arranged the displays themselves over a number of years. Keith has drafted members of his team to work in the museum and café, and his wife cooks the freshly prepared food which is sold in the café.

10

Oakham Treasures is one of the largest privately owned museums of retail and farming history in the UK. Opened to the public for the very first time since July 2008, it has already become an award winning major attraction, and guarantees to give you an amazing and uplifting trip down memory lane.

11

Whether you are 8 or 80, you’ll be fascinated by this vast and unique collection of memorabilia from the last century. There really is something for everybody, from the thousands of items in the historic stores, to the impressive display of vintage tractors and farm equipment.

SWEET SHOP:

Remember that wonderful aroma when you dived into the corner sweet shop with your hard earned pocket money? Being spoilt for choice between rows and rows of brightly coloured jars behind the counter? Then you’ll love the sweet shop at Oakham Treasures, whatever your taste.

20

From Polar Mints to Murray Mints, Brown Bros India Rock to Zubes, Fruit Gums to Fry’s Chocolate and Blue Bird Liquorice Rolls to Cadbury’s Sixpenny Cake Chocolate, this sweet tooth haven has it all!

There are rows and rows of chocolates, still in their original packaging, all presented in a beautiful and traditional sweet counter. There’s even a Nestlé and After Eight Mints salesman’s display case, traditionally used by the sales representative when travelling round the independent retailers.

There’s also an especially impressive display of locally manufactured Fry’s memorabilia, showing the breadth of chocolate bars produced together with the original merchandising including the still famous ‘Five Boys’ advertising campaign on metal signs.

GROCERY SHOP:

The grocery store is the largest of the shops on display at Oakham Treasures. Stocked from floor to ceiling behind the original shop counters and weighing scales, there is a vast array of not only real live grocery contents, but their packaging, merchandising and advertising signs as well!

The store provides a fascinating view of the vast number of grocery brands in existence throughout the 20th century. Famous names such as OXO, Coca Cola, Colman’s, Heinz and Huntley and Palmers have all changed little in appearance, whereas others, such as Birds Egg Substitute, Smiths Crisps and Black Boy Coffee are all long gone!

As you browse through shelf upon shelf of stock, you’ll be amazed at just how many old products you recognise from your past. Do you remember doing the laundry with Rinso, Fairy Snow, Drive, Clozone, Fab or even Omo? It’s all here in this vast treasure trove of grocery items, just waiting to be rediscovered by you on your nostalgic trip down memory lane!

Hardware Store:

Imagine in days gone by if you needed to do a bit of DIY, or to find an every day replacement item for your home, and you’ll find it here in the hardware store.

16

From candlewicks to clothes lines, pots to pans, tap washers, paints and varnishes, hovers to light bulbs. There is even a handy government issued leaflet giving advice to consumers on ‘What the rationing of electricity means’ to them.

13

It is an Aladdin’s cave of bits and bobs spanning back 100 years. You will find yourself immersed scanning the packed shelves for handy items, recognising many, and noticing several that have only changed marginally in more recent times.

14

Haberdashery:

One for the ladies here! A beautiful display of the more intimate apparel worn by ladies in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s.

There are beautiful mannequins showcasing corsetry from Madame Jeann, Liberty, Fitu, WIB and Gossard to name a few. Exquisite hosiery examples from Aristoc, Ballito, Dentex and Elba will take you back to a bygone era, and you can marvel at the elegance of beautifully crafted gloves and lace.

Browse around the perfumery, imagine yourself wearing the vintage hats and marvel at the vast array of buttons, cottons, dress making patterns and sewing equipment complete with several fine examples of early Singer sewing machines and chairs.

Off Licence & Tobacconist

15

Displayed as two distinctive shops, you can take a trip down memory lane as you rediscover the vast range of alcohol and tobacco on sale in bygone years.

If you like a tipple, you’ll love the display of figurines from Johnnie Walker, Dubonnet, Hennessy, Teachers, Ben Truman and Beefeater Gin.

17

There’s a variety of rare merchandising memorabilia, including a Guinness light created out of a seal balancing a blue ball on its head, which is believed to be only one of a few ever produced by Guinness.

19

Several examples of ‘medicinal’ tipples can be seen such as Hollands Gin, Vinecta, Burgoyne’s Tintaro and Old Grans Special Toddy. And if you remember the Babycham years, you’ll love the display of bottles, glasses, trays and table mats

In the tobacconist you’ll find well known brands such as Black Cat, Players and Piccadilly, together with some more elusive names such as Squadron Leader, Black Beauty Shag and Baby’s Bottom!

Chemist

If you are into lotions and potions, then a visit to the Oakham Treasures chemist is a must. From Swamp Root, a kidney and bladder flusher, to the poisonous Boots Coal Tar Inhalant, you will be fascinated as to some of the old medical cures on offer.

Take a peek at an old undertakers embalming kit. Marvel at the snake bite kit, complete with instructions on what to administer depending on the type of venom bite, and imagine how you would have felt if a doctor had administered you with the Buckingham enema syringe kit!

There is even a beautiful old Chemist clock, believed to have once resided on the Whiteladies Road, in nearby Bristol.

Tractor & Farm Museum

21

If you’re into tractors and farm machinery, then you will love this tractor museum which houses around 150 old and vintage tractors. Examples can be found from around the world and as far away as America and Australia. From Allis Chalmers to Massey Ferguson and Titan, they are all here, dating back to a wonderful 1918 Fordson. Now on wooden blocks to preserve them, almost all were in working order when they entered the museum.

8

There’s also an impressive display of old farm engines, many beautifully restored, and there are many fine examples of both oil and gas fired engines dating back to 1910. You’ll also spot a whole array of other farm equipment from sheep shearers to a potato harvester, a cider press to a hay and straw elevator, and much, much more besides.

Moto Classic at Bolsa Chica State Beach- California

Well, Saturday came around way too fast for me and Jennifer and I jumped on our machines and headed out to Bolsa Chica State Beach, about 16 miles from where we live in La Mirada, the sun was out and the clouds were nowhere to be seen.

After about 20 minutes we arrived, only for me to just remember that I had put the tickets on the fridge door for safe keeping and like a twat- I forgot to pick them up.

So Jenn sat by her bike and tried the ring the neck out of the Triumph to get home in time, grab tickets and get back in maybe less than an hour.

Bugger me, I got about 6 miles and the road was closed off, helicopters flying low and Cops all over the place, so- I turned on the phone to maps mode and plotted my way back to my place, left and right I turned, into a housing tracked, then as I turned right, bang in the middle of the road was a crime scene white RV, cops all looking at me and Helicopters kicking dust up like an Egyptian storm.

I had literally ridden into the Crime scene where some poor bugger got Horizontal, but- I didnt  have time to check out the Morbidity- I just wound that loud tube up and got on it, 45 Bloody traffic light stops later I got to the house, ran in, grabbed the tickets and I left the Triumph running, and jumped on the bike, cained its arse another route to Bolsa Chica and got back in a really fast time, allowing us to walk from our bikes and onto the beach.

6

Plenty of people about and they all followed the path laid out on the beach and the smell of 2 an 4 stroke Exhaust Vapors could be experienced.
1

We got into the event and walked around the Vendors area, tons of cool 10X10 Eazy Ups with companies selling Apparel to parts and the sound of a Good reggae band also filled the air where people hung out and enjoyed the festivities etc.

2

Amongst all that noise and splendor, there were bikes racing up and down, entertaining the crowd with Wheelies, Donut Burn Outs and other trick riding, on another part of the beach there was a small winding race track set up for mini bikes, where people from kids to older than me raced around this little track, trying to not crash or bump elbows.

3

Then there was the Pitts, we we walked into there and saw many faces I had not seen in a while, had a quick chat but as it was race time, most were putting on there Helmets and getting ready for their heat, as there was a bigger track set up for Flat track and quite a few Classic or Vintage bikes set up for that, as well as many Modern bikes.

4

We watched the Vintage stuff as thats what I am into and had a few buddies racing in the same race, @Jimmy White @ Grant Petersen were both giving it all, poor Jimmy had a small crash but he got up and raced the next race.

47

It was fun to watch and plenty of spectators there to see what it was all about and many smiles to be seen for this event on a Hot October day in Southern California. Below oare some photos that I took with my Little Camera and I enjoyed watching the lads battle it out on the track.

51 52 53 54 55 57 58 59 60 61 62 63 64 65 66 67 68 69 70

The only downside was they should of had bleachers for that event as you pay all that money and cant see for shit as the fence is in the way, it was the spectators that contributed most of the money to watch this even but were restricted but the wire fence that was well in the way, so next time, try Bleachers, more people can see whats gong on and can have fun and take photos as the fence hindered anyone taking photos.

Plenty to look at though and I think the vendors did pretty well. I took a few more snaps so I hope you enjoy them?

Also there were a number of bands playing there right on into the night so I am sure it was a huge hit for Roland Sands organization.

The weather was great and as far as I know there were no bad accidents and maybe this will become an annual show if the City will give out Permits.

Below is a 4 into 1 system for a CB350 Honda, and man is it a crisp set up, Customer loved it.

Footage is not good but a chap came by as he fitted my 4 into 1 on his DOHC Honda and loved it.

Below is a CB750 with a raw steel exhaust system of mine fitted.

I have sold over 1000 Of my exhaust systems, been doing this over 17 years and love it.

Oh yeah, these not only breathe well, listen to how crisp they responce is on the throttle, this bike had not run in over 20 years, so changed oil and gas, fitted my 4 into 1 and she ran really well.

Below is a few pics of bikes with the systems on, love what I do and so glad you chose a product made right here in California.

Flash Back Friday- Old Video for you to watch.

Happy Friday Every body, hope that your end of the work week is going well, nothing quite like a Friday and I am sure that some of you at least, will be riding your Motorcycle to some event, or simply just to get about and see a few buddies now that the Weekend is almost here.

Flash back Friday is the Day and I thought I would just add an 8 minute Video of my Old shop back in the City of Orange, had some fun times there and some shit times too, being your own Boss brings a whole lot more Headache than you will ever understand if you are not a Business owner.

It was a super Windy Sunday when I walked around the shop, you could hear the metal doors banging about, but, I hope that you find it interesting, many CB750 Builds I had taken on there and got them ALL completed in the end.

Have a Great weekend you lot and many thanks for following me, its great to hear input from Customers and readers etc and anything else you may want to see, just drop me an email at. carpy@carpyscaferacers.com and I shall be more than happy to reply to you.

Ride Safe and keep your Lights on.
