Keanu Reeves talks about his Motorcycle infactuation Via GQ

He’s a big bike nerd just like us. Via GQ

Normally, when we talk about motorcycle-riding actors, our go-to is Tom Cruise. The high-octane actor is well known for making his own stunts, leaving CGI and motion capture behind. Keanu Reeves, on the other hand, is a low-key badass who has shown some serious action chops, especially thanks to the John Wick movie series. Plus, the guy can ride! He’s not only had the chance to show what he got in movies—more recently in John Wick: Parabellum, but he’s also co-founded his own motorcycle brand. Now, we get to have a look at his collection and around the Arch Motorcycle garage.

He starts off his GQ interview by asking how many bikes you need to own to be called a “collector”. In my opinion, “more than you can ride at once” is a good place to start, so two bikes and over is the start of something truly wonderful if you ask me. If we stick to that very personal definition, that makes Keanu Reeves a legit motorcycle collector. He has two pretty special bikes.

The first one he discusses and shows us around is his black 1973 Norton Commando 850 MKA2, which he said he bought in 1987. He explains that he grew up loving Nortons—can’t blame him! The second bike he owns is of course The Matrix Reloaded dark green 2004 Ducati 998 Reloaded Edition—a color specially prepared by the manufacturer in honor of the movie franchise.

During the interview, he lists some of movies he’s had a chance to ride in, including Chain ReactionMy Own Private Idaho (in which he rides on a yellow Norton), and, of course, John Wick: Parabellum. I recent trailer shows that a fight between good and evil will take place in the saddles of a fleet of Yamaha MT-09.

As the proud co-owner and co-founder of Arch Motorcycle, a motorcycle-oriented interview with Keanu Reeves wouldn’t be complete without a few words about his motorcycle brand. He explains how what started off as the customization contract for a Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide with Gard Hollinger’s shop turned into the prototype of what would turn into Arch Motorcycle’s KRGT-1 bike. He discusses how the company itself builds over 200 machined aluminum components for the bikes and how other components including the suspension, exhaust, and engine are sourced from different other manufacturers. He then introduces us to the Arch 1S, a sportier iteration of the GT with a slightly more aggressive riding posture.

Finally, Reeves shows us the Method 143 concept bike that uses a carbon fiber monocell chassis, a striking futuristic design. What’s on his motorcycle bucket list he has yet to do or own? Reeves lists owning a 1955 Vincent Black Shadow, and a Brough Superior of some sort as part of the list, as well as the experience of riding on a MotoGP bike. Now we feel like we just want to hang out with the guy.

Great weekend weather to work on your 2 wheeled machine here in Southern California

With temps in the 80’s it nice to be able to work on the bikes in warm weather, I spent so many years shivering my arse off back in the UK, that I look back and wonder how I managed to do anything when there was ice on the inside of the garage door, so here we are in So Cal and enjoying every minute of the climate that we are blessed to receive here.

I wanted to Pull the Vesco Honda out and go through a few things, I do not like the Tappet covers, they squash the O-Rings out of shape and I have a small Oil leak, so I am going to change them out with some Custom Black Aluminum versions and New genuine Honda O-Rings, that should sort it. But, If I still get some oil on the head, i shall remove the valve cover a fit a new gasket too and this is the perfect weather for it.

Have fun with your machine this weekend.

Weekend is here already, working on a New braided brake line set up, and a Custom Headlight Assembly.

Well, Saturday soon came around, I have been pretty busy as of late at the shop here in La Mirada, it is always a busy time of year as many people need pars for their bikes and I help all that I can to make sure they can complete their Motorcycle in time for some great riding.

Now, I am bringing out many more new products that will be available for you to use on your machines and I do all the prototype work to make sure it not only fits easier, but that it performs better than what you have right now.

The 2 parts I want to feature today are my Custom European headlight, which is a really Custom look and comes with a Stone guard and a Yellow Lens, to get you noticed.

So right now, today I have been working on a Project motorcycle, a CB750 F Super Sport and the stock brake line set up just wasn’t cutting it, so I removed that and used my brand new Braided hose stainless brake line that has Stainless Steel adapters and is so easy to fit to your machine too.

So, above you can see the Braided hose, this is Top Quality all the way, even the Formula One Race cars you see use this brand of hose, so you know these are a great deal.

These Braided hoses will fit the CB750K and the CB750f but- this is for removing your front brake switch, I dont like them and remove them from the triple tree and fit a single one piece brake hose, and this will give you 40% more braking and so easy to fit too, but- if you want to have your brake switch, I offer a 2 piece brake line kit on the website, so check that out at your leisure.

I use a straight fitting that simply screws into the caliper, then you use the crush washer I supply, then route the braided line down to the caliper, going behind the lower triple tree and then into the caliper, simply screw the adapter in place, undo the bleeder, fill the reservoir on your mater cylinder and bleed it into a bottle with a clear pipe so you can see the air bubbles exiting the bleeder.

These are such great quality and gives your brake more power but also a more Custom look as well.

You will find this so easy to bleed and the brake will feel way more positive when you grab the lever and thats a good thing.

This literally took me 5 minutes to fit and bleed and now functions so well and gives me more confidence in stopping when i am out on the tarmac next and now available to you lot.

The Brake hose is fitted and now I have fitted the Euro style headlight and made a special bracket to house it, this allows you to use the stock location of the lower triple tree bolts, i will chrome the bracket when completed and that too will be available on the website .

The Stone Guard will protect your lens from any stones or projectiles that are sometimes left on the highway or byways when you are riding to an event or a job etc.

Also, the strong Yellow lens, gives it a European style but will grab more attention from drivers but with out blinding them, look how cool this front end is now.

So, I am off to the garage to do a wee bit more but wanted to show you what i got up to today, have fun with your Motorcycle and thanks for checking my Blog and my parts out, I am here to help, call or text 714-598-8392 and I will do my best to get you sorted out.

I love my job and love to promote Custom parts too.

The Scrambler takes its inspiration from those old Triumph ISDT machines that were once famously ridden by Steve McQueen with its classic styling dominated by twin high-level exhausts, designed to provide maximum ground clearance on rough terrain.

The design of the bike is pretty old school, only adding to its modern-day appeal. The utilitarian style is highlighted by the two simple single-color options, with a new Matte Black option joining the popular military-style Matte Khaki Green. Likewise, the spoked wheels with lightly knobbed tires, high footrests, rugged fork gaiters and wide, off-road style handlebars give a further nod to the Scrambler’s off-road heritage. Then there are items such as headlight grills, skid plate, and number boards, all of which adds even further resemblance to the ISDT models of the 60’s.

Powering the Scrambler is a unique version of Triumph’s 865cc parallel-twin engine. Designed outwardly to look like a classic 1960s twin, this DOHC eight-valve unit is a low-maintenance modern engine developed to meet the most stringent emissions regulations.

The fuel-injected twin delivers a laid-back output of 58 brake horsepower and 50 lb/ft of torque at just 4,750 rpm, making the Scrambler a versatile ride that can tackle a number of riding conditions. With its 270-degree crankshaft, the Scrambler takes on a totally different character to the other models in Triumph’s classic range, producing a totally addictive off-beat soundtrack which can be cranked up a notch and enjoyed just like those old mavens that used to run wild on the roads and highways of the world.

The Vesco Honda Custom Machine fires into Life

For many years this bike was left dormant and looking in a sorry state, I completely stripped this old 74 Honda and Custom worked on the frame to give it the opportunity to remove parts of the chassis if you need to get to the motor.

This bike is kind of a 1970’s Street Muscle Machine for the want of a better description and I am so happy I went the way of a Metalflake Silver frame and a Candy Pearl bodywork design, this screams mid 70’s and the ole 750 sounds tough as old boots.

I have custom welded the gas tank and now it uses a screw in Harley cap and is smoothed over and the seat is one of the most comfortable I have made, using memory foam and expensive Quality Leather, I hand bent the handlebars and triple chromed them and the stance is bang on and really nice to ride around on , and Love this bike and am so happy at the end result.

Obviously, originally belonging to the infamous Vesco Family and now they have a 428 MPG record with their Streamliner, they have shown interest in the machine once more and love the way it has turned out.

The 4 into 2 into 1 Stainless Exhaust system Growls nicely and suits the bike as the headers hug the inline four motor, it now has that old school Gold tint to the headers now she has been fired and it is a tough looking Motorcycle which ever way you look at it.

From every angle you can see detail and I am happy that I put a lot of hard work in detailing this inline Four, these sure are good solid bikes to use as a Platform for any guise of style.

The Original Lester Spoked Rims I removed from a CR750 Race bike that was being parted out and glad I got to use them, as I have had these in storage for about 15 years and nice to re-use parts from back in the day.

Here are just a couple of lists of some of the things I have done to this motorcycle.
