The Sidewinder Exhaust System for SOHC Honda CB750 CB550 and CB500 Four.

My Exhausts System named the Sidewinder is a Fun and Easy to fit 4 into 1 Performance system that will fit all CB750-CB550 and CB500 Four Honda Machines.

I am super proud of all my systems and this one I like because it allows for you to use your main stand if you so wish, the system flows so well and breathes like New lungs for a smoker.

I have sent these to all over the United States and the Globe, I get so much Positive feedback it really does make my day and of course, make my parts help people get their machines back on the tarmac.

 

Just thought I would share some pics today seeing its a Sunday and many people will be either on their machines riding, or building.

Have a great weekend and if you can get some time with your 2 wheeled machine, that would be even better.

Goodwood Festival of Speed Re-Cap

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an annual Hill Climb featuring historic motor racing vehicles held in the grounds of Goodwood House West Sussex, England in late June or early July; the event is scheduled to avoid clashing with the Formula 1 season, enabling fans to see F1 machines as well as cars and motorbikes from motor racing history climb the hill.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed was founded in 1993 by Lord March in order to bring motor racing back to the Goodwood estate — a location steeped in British motor racing history. Shortly after taking over the estate in the early 1990s, Lord March (who later became Duke of Richmond) wanted to bring back motor racing to Goodwood Circuit, but did not have the necessary permit to host a race there. Therefore, he instead hosted it on his own grounds. With a small selection of entrants made up of invited historic vehicles, the first event that took place on Sunday 13 June proved to be a success, taking in a crowd of 25,000 despite a date clash with the 24 hour of Le Mans that year. After the first event’s date clash, Lord March would ensure that the event would never be allowed to clash with either Le Mans or Formula 1 races. In 1994, Saturday was added, making it a weekend event. In 1996, Friday was added, making it a three-day event. In 2010, the moving motor show was added on the Thursday. But for me its the Motorcycles and Classic cars that are worth the time to watch from all parts of the track, great for spectators as you are so close to the action in this West Sussex mecca for racing.

I haven’t been for many years but hope to take Jennifer at some point as that is another tick in the box of places we hope to visit, great to see pics on the internet of friends there and all having a blast, below is some highlights you may like to see?

These people know how rare their cars and bikes are. but when you have a true passion for racing, then no matter how much your machine is worth, they are going flat out.

The Outliers Guild Motorcycle show in Los Angeles

Well this morning I loaded up the van and took the Harlequin Honda down the 5 Freeway to Los Angeles, fighting traffic all the way and then off at Seventh street, I passed a few Old style warehouses and new I was in the right area for this weekends OG show.

So, I pulled up on Anderson in the Industrial area and drove round the back where a friend of mine Donald Leonhardt was helping out and offered to give me a hand take the bike out, Cheers Don I was stoked to have help, as the 750 is no lightweight machine.

We eased the bike into the old Warehouse and there was a hive of activity, the smell of fresh paint and cut timber filled the air, along the concrete floor are a number of hand made wooden Pallet style platforms, for which the “Invited Builders” will be displaying their machines and I was lucky enough to be one of those builders.

So many cool machines had already turned up and the amount of attention to detail and engineering feats were mind boggling, Leonardo Devinci would of been right at home here, and to add to that, the building next door will be displaying cool art and design, as well as that, there were a few cool areas for Vendors. Such as Beringer Brakes, Deus, Tobbaco Motowear Co, Stellar Mo brand and many many more.

The building is a superb venue and you can look at the bikes that are on the Wooden platforms, check out the vendors upstairs etc and then walk out the building into the alley at the rear to see more Vendors, more motorcycles and yest another building where the Art show will be, so a great Horseshoe shaped event thats super easy to navigate.

Many bikes will be there, close to 100 I should think, so if you have a chance, get down to the show this weekend, it will be a fun place to be for sure. I am looking forward to see what all is on display, love seeing other bikes that have been created.

The OG Moto Show is an annual motorcycle event located in Downtown Los Angeles featuring select Cafe’ Racer, Bobber, Classic, Tracker, Scrambler, Old School Chopper, Modern Classic, Brat and full custom motorcycles on display in a unique setting. The vision of Jay LaRossa of Lossa Engineering, Stan Chen, John Pangilinan, and Ralph Holguin of RMD Garage to help bring this style of motorcycle culture to Southern California.

The event gathers thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts together in a unique setting. The experience will feature art, photography, music and more.  Coffee, drinks, and food will be served throughout the day.  Select vendors were on hand offering goods for purchase and the highlight of the event will centered on the custom motorcycles on display.

 

59 Club O.C. Section had a Great weekend.

Hey all

Well, this weekend was quite a busy one for the 59 Club Orange County Section as Saturday Morning we all met up at Boys Burgers and then Jennifer and Amanda both led the Club on the route to the Classic car and Motorcycle show that was being held at Seal beach.

The day was Hot and an early start was needed to try and get to the event before we started to cook, as every year it is warm there, even though it is by the beach, it gets bloody scorching some times, so, with 15 riders we headed towards the Seal beach area.

Great Formation of riders and very enjoyable ride, its way better than just jumping on a freeway as they tend to be boring, dangerous and not much to look at.

We arrived at the Naval Grounds and was greeted by the Navy Soldiers, who kindly showed where we could park our two wheeled machines, it was right by the water and a nice breeze to have on us.

We then left the bikes under armed guards and then we caught a free shuttle bus to the event, it was an old British Double Decker with some of the upper windows taken out and felt nice with the cool sea air coming through the bus as we took the short 5 minute trip to the event.

This show is enormous and usually everyone veers off to their favorite car or motorcycle and we either bump into each other or catch up later on.

Jennifer and Amanda led the group and did a fantastic job, well done Girls!

The Sun was starting to bake us but what a great show with tons of Cool Classic iron to look at and further up on the seafront they had the Motorcycle section.

Plenty to see there too and this Annual event seems to be getting bigger and bigger, great to see but I think they need a few more Vendors as so many people come to this show nopw, I know people would buy their wares.

I may have a booth and show a bike at the next one, problem is, there are so many events on through out the summer here in California, it is hard to keep up with what is what and I end up forgetting, then kick myself later on.

If you can make this show- Try and do it and there is something for everyone here, a Mixture of Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles and the atmosphere is really great, everyone is happy and more than happy to talk about their ride they have on display.

I had a blast but the weather was bloody warm and amazing as its by the beach, but there are a lot of shops and restaurants to go and check out too if you get out here.

Below, I bumped into  Fellow Brit.-Mike Brewer from the TV show- Wheeler Dealers, he has a New side kick and was trying some live video at the show, ya never know who you may meet at an event we go to.

We stayed for quite a few hours and could of easily stayed longer if the Sun stayed back a bit, but a great Saturday and a relaxing ride with great friends.

Tomorrow we ride to Griffith park to see our mate Andrew Chaves place as he works at live Steamers where all the smaller gauge trains are built, serviced and run, should be a blast!

59 Club Ride to Vintage Motorcycle meet up in Huntington Beach!

59 Club History

 

What a great day we had on Sunday, Blue skies albeit the Sun was Baking in Anaheim, but- once we saddled up at Alea’s cafe, we headed towards the sea and I tell you, it was a welcome feeling of the cooler temperature and sea breeze as we approached Pete’s Grill on Brookhurst.

We had a nice little turn out today, about 12 came to the Cafe to meet up and it sure was nice to hear all them exhausts hitting different tones as they wound the loud button up and we headed for the freeway.

 

The ride was at a nice pace as we had some new people attend and great to meet them too, we stayed in formation and headed up the 91 to the 57 past Anaheim Angels Baseball Stadium , I moved up and down the group and so awesome to see and hear all these cool Motorcycles as we wind our way towards the beach town of Huntington.

 

 

We stopped off just down the road to get gas and bloody hell its already gone up 75 cents a gallon since yesterday, sneaky buggers!

We tend to fill up here as the freeway is about 500 yards ahead of us and easy to get to places from here when we go on a ride.

The other side is Arco but they tend to serve laquer thinner most of the time.

We all gassed up and seeing as the price of petrol is sky rocketing in So Cal, glad we were on Motorcycles.

I think Bryan below was texting the Government to say they are gouging us!

Below, I have a quick Chin wag as to where we are going, whilst everyone fuels up on this hot July day.

 

Blue Skies on this Sunday on July 12th a nice Breeze from the sea was already on its way and appreciated.

Great fun to have cool people with Mike and His Mrs leading the way.

More bikes here than KFC had nuggets.

 

I was suprised at how many bikes turned up, this is a great little meet up of which we shall attend again at some point.

Plenty of ringa Dinga Two Stokes here as well.

Something for everyone here at Huntington and sure enjoyed looking around.

 

Plenty of Triumphs about too as we take in all the fun atmosphere.

love seeing Beeza’s.

This Bonnie was clean and really nicely done.

 

Here was an Early Curtiss Arrow that would shake your fillings out!

Plenty of Brit iron here and I loved everything that was on display.

Not sure who the owner was as i wanted to ask what Chapter of the 59 Club he was in.

Now this is how I would like to find a trumpy to restore.

Triple trumpies parked together.

How many people learned to Wheelie on these?

An Almagamation of Honda’s too, there is the GCR or gerards I built a few years ago. now has over 50,000 miles on it.

Bryan’s CB650 sat in the sun and looked awesome.

Wanted to chat to this fella with his Norton but he had to dash.

 

A mixture of all brands and styles and that makes a good bike event.

See if some of you can make this Monthly meet as its sure fun to go to.

Early RD bought back great memories for me.

KH kawasaki 500 were so popular back home but been 30 years since I have seen one.

Plenty of them here and loved it all.

 

You could smell the Castrol R.

Velocette was such a great time capsule here- loved to of owned this.

Love the Fishtail exhaust.

All sorts to see with many coming in and out all day.

litle harley Sprint was a rare sight to clap your eyes on.

 

Another Velocette to look at, getting hard to find these days.

Always loved their logo..

 

I wanted to buy this 305 for Jennifer.

Mach III would pull your arms off.

memory lane here, such a rare find.

Another hard to locate bike is this 400-4 Super Sport and what a great example this was.

69 trumpy was simply lovely.

Little HD was catching plenty of attention.

This guy was 75 years too late and batting for the wrong team!

Pair of Matching Triumphs come rolling in.

A motorcycle delight and so much to see and chat too.

Honda Street tacker looked fun.

Super-hawk cafe, the owner works for HONDA.

This 750 Commando was clean as hell and I would of loved to have ridden it home.

Another rare sight, the good old GT550 Suzuki.

There was a nice turn out and people were all friendly and generally took an interest in what you were riding.

Unusual Green Beemer cafe but it was Nice.

Loved this GMC Swat team special and we need one for the club, anyone got one of these we can buy?

Old customer of mine, I remember repairing the exhaust and adding tail light and signals 5 years back, great to see him still riding the SS.

All sorts of bikes were here and thats what makes it Unique and fun, plus bikes came in and out all the time.

I loved this Little Trumpy Bobber.

Heading out as the infamous Gerard on his GCR Cafe Racer rode down from Palmdale!

Always a cool collection of bikes and people and there were a few Guzzies too!

You never get to see too many CB650 Honda’s but Bryan is a Customer of mine and this bike I redid for him sounds so cool on the pipe!

 

 

So we decided to head back but via PCH seeing as there was a cool Breeze and it was great fun.

 

PCH is always busy in the Summer, especially on a weekend but nice to slow down and check the beach and sights out.
