Southern California Motorcycles Spring Open House Show! SATURDAY 2nd APRIL

Well, Only a few days away and the BIG event to be held at North America’s biggest Triumph Motorcycle dealer will soon be upon us.

We shall be having a small Booth there,, showing parts and Apparel from our shop and be great to see you in Person. Maybe have some headlights, Seats and other cool parts for your british iron. So we sure hope that you will ride over to this Open house and come enjoy this fun Saturday with more Triumphs than you will know what to do with.

This is a big and fun event, so jump on your Trusty Trumpy and head over to Southern California Motorcycles in Brea on Saturday the 2nd April for some great bargains, heck, you might even fancy buying a New machine as they can hook you up right there and then if so needed.

I have bought Three Motorcycles from them there and have always given me a super deal and an easy Transaction too.

Bring you and the Family as there will be all sorts of stuff going on and know that you will enjoy yourself.

Southern California Motorcycles invites riders and enthusiasts of all ages, as well as their family and friends, to join us for our annual Spring Open House. The event will take place on Saturday, April 2nd from 10am to 5pm at our dealership located at 515 W. Lambert Rd. in Brea, CA. Attendees can enjoy free food and drinks, live music, and the chance to win prizes from free raffles and a Best Bike contest. Vendors will be displaying the latest and greatest in motorcycles and more. We will have a bikini bike wash, photo booth, and tons of great deals throughout our showrooms. Our Service department is now taking appointments for an exclusive offer for onsite suspension setup. For only $40, riders can have their suspension set up (an $80 savings) in about twenty minutes. We will have over 20 motorcycles ready for demo rides from all our brands; sign-ups are on a first-come first-serve basis.

We shall be there with a few of our own Motorcycles too, so make sure you can come by and say hello, maybe even buy some products from us too?

New Swing arm now being Drawn up in Solid Works

I have been contemplating getting these manufactured for some time now, a couple of years ago I was speaking to a company that with my input, we should be able to manufacture these to the correct specifics and standards to allow the safe use of Aluminum material and of course as these are mechanical parts I want to make sure these are stress relived and comply to all the safety codes and standards that are required.

They will be made from 7075 and an Aerospace company is going to help me with the R&D to make sure that all will be safe and of course have a Perfect fit with easy maintenance etc. The R&D will be done by a friend of mine that has made swing arms for over 50 years for TT bikes, Super bikes and Motocross, so a plethora of experience, these will be top quality, the best anywhere.

This will take a little while for me to get this all how I want it, I have now sent a stock swing arm to a specialist who will be using Solid Works to draw this all up, then once that is done all the Stress relive work and magnafluxing will be determined as these have to be bang on and built by people that know what the Parameters must be for Alloy Swing arms.

I think I will have mine as a polished set rather than just Black but also have the option of Powder coat or anodizing too.

I will have time and money in these but have many people all on waiting lists now so that means people like what I am doing.

I have just seen one from over here and its too 80’s looking and no real style, just a chunk of aluminum will not cut it for me.

This stuff is what I am into, support a business that loves and breathes this stuff, not some factory that churns stuff out with no ISO or traceability.

Stay tuned as I will have this done soon and then can take the Deposits to make sure the first 24 are getting theirs.

59 Club meet at heroes last night was great

Last night was our monthly meet up, this time Jennifer my Girlfriend organized a great eatery and bar called Heroes which is located in Fullerton, just up the road from the shop.

It was a great Turn out and we all enjoyed the great atmosphere, the Beer and the food that they supply at this superb establishment and we were looked after very well indeed.

Above is Cory’s Bonnie that he purchased from Southern California Triumph, I did the seat and rear fender ad its a fun Hot Rod styling.

Above you can see My Thruxton and Mark Bakers Racing green machine as we all park at the same stable.

A warm night and still light too, so next meet will be great as we can start to try other venues and enjoy the So Cal Weather.

A Range of Trumpys and one Duck rest their legs as we rest ours in the Bar.

We really had a great time at Heroes and next meet up probably stay n Fullerton as there are some great eateries here.

Not the best of photos but- my I phone sucks, but it was like Christmas in the place. Every one liked the place.

Ride to Deus Ex Machina, Venice This SUNDAY March 29th

Ride to Deus Ex Machina, Venice

It is time for another great little ride and this time it will be this Sunday and we shall be leaving Alea’s cafe on Miraloma in Anaheim at 9:00am and heading to viti Deus ex machina in Venice.

I have not been to the shop yet and when I lived in Australia did go to their little workshop in 1997 and saw the cool set up they had, now 18 years later, i would like to go check them out here as they have a cool place in Venice.

To grab a Coffee and of course meet up with like minded people and go on a ride out to the beach side area and check the shop out, as Deus is synonymous with great Motorcycles and apparel and of course serve coffee too, so a great way to spend a few hours with like minded people.
