Honda CB750K 17,000 Miles 1976 $2500

Well the old 76K is now running, I pulled this out of a back yard, not run since the 80’s but now she runs and rides and all gears work fine too, I love this old inline fours and the tenacity of the CB750 is unsurpassed by any other model I believe.

The 1976 CB750K I think, is the best year, the petcock was changed to the left hand side, that way you did not have to take your hand off the throttle to turn it onto reserve, its a great all round machine and even though this has sat since the 80’s in a back garden, I managed to get the old girl to run and ride once more.

Sure, the old and tired Carbs needed rebuilding and New coils were warranted as the old ones were dried out from the California Sun, but I used OEM coils as I love Genuine Honda parts and not the Chinese rubbish that’s out there.

But, even though this old girl has been sat out in the back garden of a customers for many years, the fact that is only had 17,000 was awesome and internally the motor is fine, but, I still need to do more on this bike and if I do, of course the price will go up, but right now its $2500 and has a few new parts like carbs, coils, Lithium Battery, X ring chain etc, but I took out for a quick ride last night and she pulled pretty hard, had to take it easy though as old tires on it and I may change that out later.

Other than 4 into 1 the bike is all Original but needs a good clean up and I may do that as and when time permits, a great Platform for somebody out there thats for certain as the K6 is a great model to use as stock or a custom design of your very own.

She fires up and she runs through all the gears, only thing that isnt working is the headlight as i think its just the bulb as everything else functions fine, a good solid project that now has a new life and no longer sitting in a sad state not going anywhere, I love getting these old ladies to run again, its a great feeling to hear them bark back into life.

Have a look and it the bike on here, it may stir your mind into getting your leg back over one of these 500 pound inline fours, these a great machines and I continue to be amazed at the Longevity of these 500 pound Motorcycles. They will run with a little clean up after sitting for decades.

I was going to paint them to match the tank, but- they were so useful, we could never take them off lol.

The Triumph also has LED turn signals that get you noticed, a New Battery Just added too, a very clean bike that anyone would love to own and ride of course, the bike has been well looked after and will be missed when she is gone.

HONDA 1977 CB550F Super Sport for Sale $5999

Sometimes  in your life of buying and selling Motorcycles ,you come across a Diamond in the rough, and here is one that I wasn’t going to purchase at first but something told me to go and see it , as I had no photos of it.  I am so glad I did, this was a one owner machine that was purchased in 1977, it did have a Rear Luggage Rack with sissy bar attached and a Chrome front crash bar, but took that off, although the owner bought it new in 1977 and had the dealership fit them to the bike upon purchase.

(I can supply you with them if you require as they are still hung up in my Barn.)

This is a very nice machine and has 11,000 miles on the girl which is super low for a 45 year old Motorcycle, the old fella used it to go to work and that was it, I purchased the bike and have had it in storage for a couple of years, but seems a shame to keep it locked in and thought that it was time to let somebody else have some fun with it.

The bike is all Original other than the battery, even the tires are original, a rare find these days, I did remove the carbs and go through them a couple of years back, but it has been stored in my Barn with my other machines and I have quite a bit of work and thought it was time for the old girl to have some fun with another owner.

Now, this is not a showroom condition bike, its a bike that was used for a few years for local commuting, but its a rare find for sure, I need to give her a clean up as she is dusty from sitting inside, this was never outside.

To be honest, it would not take much to make this machine Mint, and go in shows with some tlc, its a much loved machine and I know that you will love just looking at this unmolested 1977 Machine.
The 1977 CB550 F2 is a fun and nimble machine and will sneak up on many machines, its responsive and great center of Gravity, makes for some really enjoyable riding on this inline four marvel.

A great Machine that reflects that awesome era when I was a teenager, I remember having a sales Brochure on my bedroom wall as a kid, amongst other notable motorcycles of that era and this brings back so many memories just looking at the bike.

I do have the Title for this too and numbers match the title, so you are all good there, its not been on the road since I have owned it as I have kept it in my Barn with the other bikes and I think its time to offer this to the public as I am sure there are many like me that love these 70’s Iconic Machines.

This Four Stroke Transverse Four Cylinder, SOHC Motor with 2 Valves per Cylinder, and a Bore and Stroke of 50.85 x 50.6mm with a 9.0:1 Compression is a little powerhouse to be honest. It has produces 50 HP/36.5kW @8500 RPM, with a Max Toque of 43.1 Nm/31.8 LB-Ft@ 7400RPM.

I did work on the carburetors and fit a New battery but, that’s it, a lovely condition for its age and nothing cut off or broken on this amazing Honda 550F inline four cylinder.

If you want to capture the late 1970’s in mid size Motorcycling, then this really is it, sitting on this reminded me of when I saw one in the dealership when I was 15 years old, after finishing my bag of chips, me and my mate used to just hang out in the shop looking at the new bikes that had come out, dreaming of the day we could own one.

Be a shame in a way to see it go, but as long as someone gets as much enjoyment out of is as I have, that is all I ask, a rare find these days and I am certain it will turn heads and have many questions asked about it where ever you take this Honda.

If you need more photos or information about this 1977 CB750F Honda, you can email me at carpy@carpyscaferacers.com or you can call or Text me on 714-598-8392 and have a chat.

Thank you for looking and hope you like the photos that I have taken of the bike, its a great color too, this weighs about 421 in dry weight and has 18″ wheels, so a nice height for most riders.

FOR SALE : 1977 CB550F SOLD – SOLD -SOLD -SOLD- SOLD

Geoffrey Chaucer once said ” Time and Tide wait for no man.”  And to be honest, he is right, I have many pokers in many fires and as we moved to a bigger place with my very own workshop, I thought some of my stuff in storage can go to others, as I have a lot of things to build, finish and design.

So here it is:

A 1977 CB550F Super Sport HONDA FOUR Project of which I have had for quite some time in my storage container.

This bike is rolling and I also have the Pink Slip and the numbers all match up too.

Still needs finishing but all the hard work is done to be honest and would make a fun Bar hopper or parts runner when completed.

The Motor was rebuilt, needs a sprocket cover as we cant seem to find the old one, but there are many things on here.

Here is a list or two,

This will make a great project for someone and is priced really well to sell, I also look forward to seeing it completed and on the road sometime very soon too.

It sits so very well and that’s how I envisioned this build when I started to acquire parts for the inline four Honda.

I have always liked the Old School Diamond treaded tires, they are not cheap as well and this makes such a good deal for a client out there as there are many cool parts on this ride as you can see by the photos I just took today.

This Motor has a Stainless Steel 304 grade Four Into 1 set up and that this style is a frame hugging design that I think will turn heads when it fires up.

Just look at them Chunky tires, this really is a great looking ride and it will travel along the gravel very smoothly indeed.

It has a set of Piggy Back shocks on the rear to set the Arse just right for them tall tires.

Still needs things like a drive chain and a front sprocket but this is all easy stuff to be honest.

These little 550 bikes are a great powerhouse and will surprise many people when you get this on the tarmac.

Has a 5-3/4 steel headlight with an LED set up that is brighter than Einstein.

I put on expensive handlebars and these really do feel super comfortable and no wrist ache what so ever, also fitted early 1970’s Race throttle and grips for an added bit of Nostalgia.

So here she is, like I said, I have the PINK SLIP-TITLE for this and the Numbers match, so a cool deal for someone out there.

Thanks for looking and Maybe you can pass this along to some of your friends, you will notice the Original speed equipped finned Points cover too?

The Scrambler takes its inspiration from those old Triumph ISDT machines that were once famously ridden by Steve McQueen with its classic styling dominated by twin high-level exhausts, designed to provide maximum ground clearance on rough terrain.

The design of the bike is pretty old school, only adding to its modern-day appeal. The utilitarian style is highlighted by the two simple single-color options, with a new Matte Black option joining the popular military-style Matte Khaki Green. Likewise, the spoked wheels with lightly knobbed tires, high footrests, rugged fork gaiters and wide, off-road style handlebars give a further nod to the Scrambler’s off-road heritage. Then there are items such as headlight grills, skid plate, and number boards, all of which adds even further resemblance to the ISDT models of the 60’s.

Powering the Scrambler is a unique version of Triumph’s 865cc parallel-twin engine. Designed outwardly to look like a classic 1960s twin, this DOHC eight-valve unit is a low-maintenance modern engine developed to meet the most stringent emissions regulations.

The fuel-injected twin delivers a laid-back output of 58 brake horsepower and 50 lb/ft of torque at just 4,750 rpm, making the Scrambler a versatile ride that can tackle a number of riding conditions. With its 270-degree crankshaft, the Scrambler takes on a totally different character to the other models in Triumph’s classic range, producing a totally addictive off-beat soundtrack which can be cranked up a notch and enjoyed just like those old mavens that used to run wild on the roads and highways of the world.

Harley 883 Caff Bike I am building to sell a little later.

Well, I have had a stock 1993 Sporty in storage for about 10 years now and thought I had better make a start on this machine, it will be for sale when completed and thought I would make a little Caff bike out of it, its going to be a fun ride for someone for sure. Got it running now.

I have a RSD 2 into 1 Tracker exhaust on her with a Dyna jet kit and an Arlen Ness Air filter set up and she seems happy that way.

many people have told me I am wasting my time with a bike such as that as they are Cruiser type machines or simply Choppers, and I so disagree whole hardheartedly, they are fun bikes and affordable and have a lot of torque, so I have a ways to go but it really is looking pretty aggressive already and I am enjoying wrenching on this Sportster right now.

As you can see by the photos I have taken, the bike isnt a huge heavy machine, this is an 883 Sportster with a 5 speed and Torquey as hell, now, the trick to get the power out of these is sinply change the cams and the thing will be a rocket, so maybe later I shall go that route, but right now I wanted to change the styling and what I have done is fit a different bigger gas tank anddropped the fork tubes 50mm up through the tree’s just to lower the front end a bit.

I shall be changing the foot pegs and painting the bike a little later, as I am not sure what design to come up with yet but I do have a few ideas of Candy Gold, Candy Flake Blue or a White with a stripe, but- until I get the bike to look how I want, the paint will be last of course. This is a belt drive and a lot quieter than a chain version, these are small bikes and was astonished to how little they are compared to the big twins.

I am not sure what to do rear wise but thinking of frenching a tail light into the cowl, that way it keeps everything clean and the lines will flow well, the rear will be as uncluttered as the front of the bike, but will drill and chrome the chain guard next week to give that a more Sportier look.

For now I shall stick with the Factory shocks, as I want this to be a fun, affordable motorcycle and who ever the new owner will be, they can easily change out shocks to give their twist to it, but plenty to do as I go along on this Caff bike project and now with the RSD 2 into 1 it sounds a lot more healthier and not too crazy loud where you will get pulled over all the time or be that annoying Motorcyclist thats letting car alarms go off as you ride by.

She sits way better now and am pleased with this look, I need to fit Grips to the Clip on’s and fit a speedometer and that will all come in time, right now I am in two minds on the stock head light or use a Custom bigger one about a 5-3/4 version with internal LED signals etc. I will remove passenger pegs and change pegs for maybe some mid controls but that all depends on budget right now.

She has a New battery and fires right up, I have just removed the stock fender and am going to cut and shorten it and then put back on. Jenn sat om it and likes the way it sits and feels, this was going to be her machine originally but I bought her a Bonneville instead.

So, she is taking shape and wanted to share these progress photos I took with you on my Blog, this WILL be up for sale once it is completed and painted, so let me know if you are interested?

It’s available as is for $4,800 with title right now, but the more I do, the more the price increases obviously. 714-598-8392 if you need to know more or carpy@carpyscaferacers.com you can even text me on the number too.

As you can see I have changed the rear shocks but I am going to be making some rear sets later on so you can have better leg room on the bike, but it is looking pretty good now and runs well.

I will most probably Paint the gas tank and I am looking at frenching (Recessing) a Tear drop tail light assembly into the Seat Cowl for a more Custom Cafe look.

Its a fun project and I shall post more pics in another Blog when I have finished some more of the work OK? Thanks for watching so far.

I may fit a different headlight also, still having fun with this 5 speed Sporty and its starting to resemble something that I had envisioned from the start.

1972 SOHC Vesco Honda for sale $5000

Well, I start this bike up every couple of days and smile, it sure is a fun bike that I out together from parts I had in storage, some rare, and of course, I purchased the bike of the famous Vesco family, grandson Larry – who is who I got it from and what a great Motorcycle family they are.

Anyway- this bike is available for anyone, its not a show bike but with some work and TLC it can easily be, if I strip it, paint frame, chrome and put back together, then thats $15K, so your choice, right now it is available at $5000.

Has a ton of cool parts and will add a little list again later. But the Lester Rims I reemoved from a CR750 Race bike, these are getting rare to locate and can spend big dollars for a set for your machine these days.

Has my Custom 4 into 1 Exhaust system with a cool aggressive kick out that is Baffled and barks like a hungry dog, this is a Hot Rod Muscle machine that has a lot of character.

It sits nicely and has Custom rear shocks to soak up the bumps via SRC and they sure do, sits on an old set of Bridgestone tires and is comfortable to ride to be honest.

The seat is made by me and has memory foam and then covered in soft leather and then Diamond stitched with twine and it really is a soft seat seat up compared to many who get it wrong.

This bike cackles nicely with my Custom 4 into 1 System, and I was glad that I made that choice, the pipe is ceramic coated in a titanium and I shortened the tail pipe to give it an aggressive stance, then added the Nickel plated Baffle in the end of it, it kicks out just right for this Custom Machine.

I start this bike when ever I go in the garage and love the cackle of this pipe and the overall rumble that the bike makes, its the perfect height for me to ride too as she has a 19 inch front and 18 inch rear.

I have a title and this is available as is for $5000 right now, but , if I do more work, then obviously the price goes up, Lights work, starter works, Horn even works too, brake lights too, all gears are super smooth and a fun ride.

I may add a front fender if I continue to work on this bike as it will look cool with a tight front bobbed fender I think and of course, stop any crap hitting you in the melon when riding.

What a Blast this is, not too many times I have jumped on a bike and smile every time, but this one is just a great alrounder and enjoy its smooth linear power delivery to be honest.

let me know if you are interested. 714-598-8392 and have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow as I know I shall.

Thank you for taking your time to have a look at my recent build, share it around with friends who may be interested as its a great deal for sure.

This is when I first fired it up last week, had not run since the mid 1980’s, a great feeling.

I have made a Custom Union Jack seat and that has New foam too and very comfortable for them long journeys if you so wish to do.

Then I have added a New Chrome Grab Rail, just in case you are taking a Passenger or you can use it to hook Bungee straps to and carry things on the bike with no problems.

1976 Kawasaki KZ 400 Cafe Racer Motorcycle $2300

kz400a

He has been riding it consistently for the last three years without any issues. It has an electronic start and idles great. Never topped 100 with it, but never really tried to either.

KZ400b

HONDA 1978 CB750F SUPER SPORT $4300

Here we are with quite an original machine here, not too many times do you get a one owner bike and he has had this Donkeys years and, works for HONDA still.

This is a 1978 CB750F Super Sport SOHC Model, the last of the Single Over Head cams and the most desirable engines as it had a slightly different cylinder head configuration and the valve had a better angle.

1978j

This has been serviced by Honda in all its 31,000 miles and has a strong recently installed 836cc kit into her, just to make sure she has a little more power if you need to get out of trouble in todays crazy roads etc.

1978d

This is a great bike and all together, it is a genuine 31K on the clock and has all the original parts still on it, the accessories are useful too, like the rear luggage rack, as thats handy for bags and stuff when commuting, as well as a front screen to stop the buffeting and the bugs, what a deal eh?

1978g

Located in Orange County area this is a great bike the pulls like a steam train and idles lovely, due to the fact of having the earlier carbs fitted, of which I do this conversion on many Super Sports.

1978f

A very cool bike with the Original Comstar rims, this bike runs and handles so well you will love it, very strong and smooth and getting harder to locate these days.

1978i

I think it is way under priced to be perfectly honest with you but its what the Customer wants, so- a great deal for someone for sure.

1978k
