Bizarre Videos for Friday!

Well, Happy Friday, today I am flat out with a zillion things to do but wanted to do a blog as I get many emails about  we do and people follow my Blogs all over the globe.

So below is a most unusual video that is shot very Well on a trumpy and thought, well, i have no clue about the story line  but its something to watch.

Now below, do you like revving your motorcycle, this chap seems to think he can make sweet tunes on his machines and sounds more like he is trying to learn morse code, I couldnt watch it for long but some nutters out there for sure.

From nut jobs to complete maniacs, Not sure why his girlfriend would even jump on a bike with no helmet but this could of ended so badly.

Just a compilation of fails for you to finish off the blog, hope you enjoy it.

Tenacious Ton – 1975 Honda CB750K Custom Alloy Cafe Racer

MY ALLOY CB750 CAFE RACER called the “Tenacious Ton”.

This is a 1975 CB750K Original model that has been customized over 9 years and a fun bike at that, I have a title and she runs and drives.

I have been in many Magazines all over the globe with this machine and it also went to Sturgis last year for the Ton Up show and had great reviews.

I am now building other machines and am going to be selling a few of my Personal Motorcycles to make space, this is a cool ride and I know you will get plenty of head snapping reactions.

This has a One Off 5 Gallon Manx Tank built by an old fella in Ireland that has since passed on, this is one really cool gas tank and it screams out Isle Of man T.T.

There are so Many mods on this I have forgotten how much work I did to this, but have a look and you will see the tank, I made the Alloy seat and it has WW2 material on the seat.

We also have a Lithium battery that powers the 836cc Motor and minimum instruments to be honest, stripped down to the bare bones is cool.

This has Original 1970’s Borrani rims that are hard to locate these days, not aftermarket and these are the real deal, not only that, check out that front end an original Arces of Italy front end, even rarer than Cerriani. And that came off a GP road racer from the UK back in 1978.

I converted this K frame to a Rear Disc set up ad its a super cool design, but also, I used 3 Alloy swing arms to come up with this set up and it works great.

The Oil tank is from 1972 and was on an early Drag bike from Santa Pod back home in the UK and fitted with Goodridge Hoses.

Original 1973 Finned Engine dress up goodies adorn this machine too. Hand made Chain Guard and old CB1100F shocks at the arse end.

The exhausts are our Dunstall style 4 into 2 and these were the first ones we made.

This bike is a classic, its not a showbike and never wanted it to be, but all the frame is smoothed out and has plenty of life in her.

Polished cases and whats cool is we hand turned the Velocity stacks out of 7075 and then polished and fitted stainless bug screens.

Double disc front set up with an old De-soto headlight up front just looks cool.

So many things done to this bike I have forgotten half of it, but as I said I have the title in my name and can ship if needed using Eagle One trucking.

It has Marzocchi Clips on’s too with early waffle grips.

A fun machine that would look good anywhere, be it in a studio or in a museum for sure.

Below is fresh off the Press, this book JUST hit the stands and my machine is in there for all to see.

I was super stoked to have my machine at Sturgis for this show and many people commented on it.

Flipping through the pages I was stoked to see quite a few cool photos of the alloy Machine of mine.

If you can understand half my smile, then you know what I am feeling right now.

A truly cool day for me when this came thudding onto the floor from the posty.

This is a unique bike with so much character.

Grab the hardback book if you can as there are superb motorcycles featured in there.

The Arse end is a good shot too.

So another Chapter closes but a new one begins.

Memorial day

It is memorial day today, I wanted to just send a big thank you to MY Grandad Hall, as a kid I only really knew him as Grandad, but that guy is one of my heroes for sure.

Living in Enfield in North London, My mums side of the family were in the thick of world war 2 and Grandad was in the Artillery. He was one of those brave men that were operating the 40mm Bofor Anti Aircraft Gun, firing at the bombers as they were dropping bombs on them and the rest of London.

My dad’s side were from East London and true Cockneys and also had some terrible bombings but they were evacuated to the south coast for safety.

Grandad Hall was A very brave man- and if it was not for the likes of him and many others, I would not be here thats for certain.

This was a hard and grueling task, as these shells were heavy and you had to be fast, my Grandad  suffered for many years with a leg injury from a shell and never moaned about it, I just wanted to send a big hello to my Grandad Hall and everyone out there and take this day as HIS day for me.

I can’t  take back time, as I wanted to ask him so many questions, but he passed when I was just a young lad and never even dared ask about the war back then, but he was such a great guy, kept himself to himself and it was not until i was older that i realised what he did in ww2 to help protect the country.

He used the Big search lights like you see on 20th centurt Fox openings to spot the plane and also the 40mm Bofar to fire Flak up at the bombers, something that must of been so  frigging scary at that time, but- it had to be done and, as Sir Winston Churchil once said. ” We shall never surrender”

This is what he had to use everytime in the Blitz.

I am so proud of My grandad, he was a quiet guy to be honest and never talked about the war, he was someone I always looked up too and respected.

Today is a special day and I wanted to share just a little of my family history to you all out there, many of you had family in the services in ww2 doing their bit to make a future for us and I feel humbled on this day to be here, as it was the likes of Grandad hall that made sure that I would have a safe life.

Thank you Grandad, I love you.

Here it is, my New Royal Enfield- Finally

I have been waiting since November 2013 for the Royal Enfield’s to come into the country and here it is in may and I find out that Today I shall take charge of  my machine.

This little Bike is a quite a bit of an improvement on the earlier models and having a new re-engineered power plant that now produces 535cc, which of course is not going to rip your arms off but, is a better built motor than the ones of past, thus said is a fun ride that when you first kick it in the guts, the motor will jump into life and have that deep long stroking sewing machine sound that I have not heard in many years.

But let me emphasize something right out of the gate on this Blog- although this is a cool Classic cafe racer styled machine, it is not going to be a Ton Up machine in this guise, this is a fantastic town bike and journeys are fin but topping out at the 80mph mark may not be what you are wanting, But- in all that said, this is a superb machine at a really really affordable price, I shall will make sure that once all run in, this machine of mine will hit the TON with a few engine mods, but for value for money this is awesome.
I have a Thruxton if i want to go crazy and get my earole scrapping the tarmac and this is something I really wanted as it has so many classic lines, how can you not love it?

This has so much appeal to the public, Girls will really dig it as it has kick start and electric start and is a light weight machine and a lot lower than even the Thruxton. So take the bike with a pinch of salt and with some Mods, this machine can fly- Remember, this is a New production and I guarantee you will see fast ones on the road later in the year.

Plenty of these have been made but it has taken a long time to get to my shores of Sunny California as the emissions here are tighter than anywhere in the globe.

The bike is a fun machine and no way could I build one as cheap as these are to purchase and this is a fun little Cafe Racer motorcycle that looks like back in the day, of course much improvement on reliability and handling,

What is cool is that the front end has a single disc rotor and has been blessed to adorn a Brembo set up that will make sure that you stop when you really need to.

These have been out back home for almost a year I guess and today I was happy to get the phone call to come and get mine.

These machines shout out at the world that Royal Enfield is back and I for one are grateful that the risk they took was a solid one.

I was so surprised to see that these are even equipped with a set of Paoli Piggy Back shock absorbers, another cool addition to this bike.

This has a kick starter and an electric, so no more embarrassing stalls at the traffic lights.

The bike is a great little design and this has the New Harris Performance Twin Down Tube Cradle frame that was meticulously re-engineered back home in the UK.

The gas tank is 13.5 litres so should do quite well on a road trip and at 365 Kg this is nt a heavy bike at all and that opens to door for many riders, especially those who are shorter and have had problems with other machines.

The exhaust is awful and one of the first things that i am going to change is this and we will be making our own systems, as well as other cool parts to improve some of the looks to change the Modern styling to a little more Cafe look.

These have got to go, the massive European style license plate backing, the hideous turn signals will get more classic styling ones and of course the rear fender will be poo canned and have a short rear end as the bike will look way better like that.

I will also be removing the headlight as it is too bulky and shall fit one of our very own models to give a wee bit more finesse.  Also, the front fender needs to be shortened and that’s easy as the mud flap screws off but shall be making new fenders for this as well.

Once the big turn signals are removed and smaller ones fitted, I shall feel better, the UK ones are way better but these ones on here are going this weekend, I actually like the gauges as they remind me of my T100 Triumph Daytona.

I think that I shall bung some pin lines on it too this week to break the Red up a little, and all my machines have pinstripes somewhere on them.

Plenty for me to see and do to personalize my little Red Rocket and be sure to check my blogs on what I do with this bike as I shall be offering the parts that we produce to you lot who have just purchased your Royal Enfield Continental GT.

Harley Stolen at El Mirage- Keep ya eyes peeled for it!

Always hate to have to bare bad news, but some low life stole a motorcycle at El Mirage and I wanted to spread the word, as someone may be offered the bike, such a shame as this had a lot of time, money and hard work go into this bike, be so good to get it back to the owners.

SCUMBAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone stole our Harley Evo landspeed race bike at El Mirage during the night on Saturday May 17th. It’s a 96cu.in. S & S motor. Five speed trans with kicker.

PLEASE look at the pictures and post as much as you can.

We had it displayed next to the motorcycle tech trailer with a for sale sign. Dave raced this bike last season and we thought that location would be an excellent, safe place to display it. It was stolen between Saturday night sunset and sunrise this morning. (05/18/14)
This bike was custom built by Dave Iversen and is ridden in a laydown postiion with the shifter and brake at the back axle. IT IS FOR LANDSPEED RACING, not street riding but could be reconfigured for street use.

The return of this bike undamaged without facing charges is on the table for a very short time. Let us know where we can pick up our bike. Your reward for doing so will save your ass from the landspeed family of thousands of members. It’s a strong community of racers, riders and bikers, and will ALL of them will be looking for YOU!

Royal Enfield Cafe Racer by T-Factor Bikes

Hailing from the Kingdom of Belgium is T-Factor Bikes a one-stop motorcycle store offering a variety of services for passionate motorcycle enthusiasts. T-Factor Bikes is Owned and operated by Yves.

Yves, now 39 was bitten by a motorcycle bug when he was teenager. Everything he does has more or less something to do with motorcycles and the culture around them. In 2005 Yves started his own company ‘T-Factor Bikes’ located near Ghent, 30km from Brussels. With humble beginnings the company is now a full professional and all around motorcycle store. Yves is joined by his 2 helping hands Filip, who has 20 years of Honda experience and Mathias, the young blood in the company who has also been bitten by the motorcycle bug.

T-Factor Bikes specializes in Royal EnfieldNorton and Benelli. They sell and maintain bikes but what they are most passionate about is customizing and rebuilding bikes at the demand of their customers. All three contribute to the projects and the end result represents a little piece of each of them. Yves tells us “The love for Royal Enfield started about a year and a half ago. We became interested in the brand, and since the first time we rode one we were sold and completely into Enfield”.

Whilst they were busy on another bike project they came up with the id

Whilst they were busy on another bike project they came up with the idea to build a Royal Enfield Café Racer. They had the idea and they have done it, introducing their Royal Enfield Cafe Racer. Yves runs us through the build process…

“We started with a new Bullet Electra 500EFI, which we demounted and we took the frame as the base of the racer. This is completely cleaned from all its unnecessary parts and painted in red. The wheels, front shocks, custom made exhaust and engine carters were painted in black and the rebuilding of the bike could begin. We CNC and adjusted a Beringer front brake disc and caliper instead of the original Enfield front brake. Together with an iron front brake line and the original brake pump the Enfield would have much more braking power.

We mounted the front fork with a custom made yokes and front fork top bridge. Between these two are the clip-ons and headlight located completely in café racer style. A front mudguard was modified and together with our custom-made speedometer table the front of the bike was complete. As for the fuel tank we picked an alloy type made for Royal Enfield, where we adjusted a seat on. This is modified on the frame and completely custom made, including the cushion. The seat also stores a lightweight battery and the power commander, which gives the bike more power.

At the back are the custom-made rear shocks from Hyperpro. These are exclusive for this bike and completely adjustable.

The heart of the bike, the 500cc engine is on the outside modified with black carters and red painted Royal Enfield logos. At the inside, the engine is changed with a ported head. This is positive for the airflow and together with the commander the bike now has 38Hp on the bench instead of 32Hp before the upgrade.  On the injection we mounted a K&N air filter, because of the weight and the old school look.

To complete the look of the bike we mounted the front mudguard and a fuel tank with back-step kit and airbrush the seat. Having the bike finished in the way we wanted makes us very satisfied. The Royal Enfield Cafe Racer was a nice creative project, it’s a fantastic bike to work with and we are looking forward to building our next one!”

Beemer in a Cool Cafe Style rendering looks cool.

Wickedly cool concept for you lot to feast your eyes on, I even like this Beemer.

If you ask us, the BMW R nineT is a pretty big deal for the business of motorcycling, as its modular design allows for the air-cooled standard to be modified extensively and easily. BMW Motorrad designed the R nineT that way so tuners and customers alike could put their own stamp on the machine that celebrates the German motorcycle maker’s 90th year of business.

Whether your taste is along the lines of the heavily modified BMW Concept Ninety, which Roland Sands had a hand in making, or something more stock from the BMW parts catalog, the BMW R nineT can abide. So, it probably shouldn’t surprise us to see that Nicolas Petit has inked another build for German parts maker Wunderlich.

Drawing both a fully-faired and a more bare-boned version of Wunderlich BMW R nineT cafe racer, Petit has once again made a lurid proposition. We think those who love the classic lines of BMW’s past will enjoy these concepts, and if anything Petit’s work shows the versatility in the R nineT’s modular design.
