Scuderia Ferrari F1 styled CB750 Creation

I have been a fan of F1 Formula race cars since I was a teenager, regularly watching the races on our 3 channel television, I loved watching these guys in the JPS Renault Lotus and my First Motorcycle that adorned the Motorcycle world was based on Emerson Fittipaldi’s Black and Gold F1.

Now, over half a Century later, not only did I create a fun Cafe bike representing the JPS styling, I am now going to create another F1 livery Motorcycle for my Brother, but this time in the Ferrari F1 colors.  This will not be a replica of that machine but will have the accents of the Italian Stallion beast that runs the circuits today.

I still have a long way to go but as long as I get the look, I shall be more than happy, this has lots of work to be done still like seat set up and some accessories as well as the color scheme but this time I shall not be painting the bodywork as ferrari and all F1 race cars are wrapped, so this will get a new skin and hope I can pull that look off?

I am incorporating Airduct’s into the side covers and will make a custom seat and this time will have removable Pannier bags that hang onto the outside of the machine to give it a wider look from the rear.

The other thing is i like to mix old with New, so I shall have a Satellite GPS speedometer with a digital Tach built inside, set inside an old Vintage Race Car Alloy Cup that was attached to the steering column many years ago and had a Tach inside it.

I am making stuff up as I go along, some I shall keep and some I shall redesign most probably, but want this to be a cool ride that I will personally ride upo where I live as its a winding set of roads with many turns and off cambered switch backs.

This will have a new exhaust system as I hope to make in stainless and am using BSA silencers to give a little British feel and sound to the machine, that’s the cool thing with Custom machines, the sky is the limit and you can change to what ever you feel is to your personal liking.

As you can see, to keep with the Italian feel, I am using Tarozzi rear sets that came directly from Italy and will make this so much more comfortable to ride and change gear quickly.

Still a long way yo go right now but its taking shape and quite excited at the form that she is making right this minute and wanted to share with you guys and gals, I shall keep you updated on this creation and hopefully not too far away I shall be cranking gears in my area and grinning from ear to ear.  Stay tuned……………………..

Few More Exhaust systems available for your CB500, CB550 and CB750 SOHC

Well, the old year is almost up, a New year just around the corner and to be honest, I am looking forward to it, new challenges but new idea’s and New parts to be offered for a number of machines, something that I do like to do and offer to everybody.

So, literally a Truckload of exhaust systems finished and some will be Ceramic coated and some will be Raw steel, as many like to paint or wrap them for them selves.

I ship all over the world and continue to help my Customers, I of course build the Motorcycles too, I make sure they fit and these do not leave my place until I am happy with them.

These systems are made right here in good old CALIFORNIA and I have been offering these for 23 years, affordable and work and sound awesome, a tried and tested formula that I have had many repeat customers.

Another movie if you have a Rainey day and want  something to help the wet weather get by faster.

Commercial from the 1960’s on Motorcycle Fashion

I look back and laugh but to be honest, this was the new thing as you were not required by law to wear a Crash Helmet at all in the UK, but in the 60’s fashion was about everything and road safety was being pushed quite hard in Britain, due to so many road accidents with “Teenagers” on Motorcycles.

When did it become law to wear a crash helmet in the UK?
A guide to UK motorcycle helmet law and safety standards …
1 June 1973
The UK crash helmet law was introduced on 7 February 1973 and debated at the House of Commons on 5 April 1973. The law was finally put into operation on 1 June 1973. The law was opposed by a number of people, including founder of the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG), Dennis Howard.

Although as a Kid I wanted one of these but I think only available here in the states back then. LOL.

I went out for a Pint of milk, Came back with 10 CB750 Engines

It’s a funny old world, I mean, I initially went out to get a pint of milk and on the way there I came across a stash of SOHC Motors that a buddy of mine needed to off load as he was clearing his place out for renovations etc, what better way of getting rid of them then to let me have them.  And, as I have a Long bed Pick up truck, I thought to myself I should be able to get all 10 engines in the back of the F250.

Lucky for me, it’s only 4 miles from my place, and as my old beast only does 6 Miles to the Gallon, it was well worth taking the turck to go and get these SOHC in line Four Motors, they had been sat outside in the Californian sun for many many years but I can use some of the parts even if some of the motors are locked up etc.

It was no easy task carrying 10 CB750 Motors from a back yard and loading them onto my truck, at 230 pounds each, every one became heavier and heavier, by the time I had dragged the 10th Engine out and up and onto my bed of the F250, i was feeling as weak as watered down beer. But I got them all on and then thought about it, man- That’s just over One Ton of Engines, and the F250 is a 3/4 Ton.

I know I will have use for these, even for parts alone, I have a small collection now that for now I shall place in my barn and wait until later on when I have some free time to see what is what.

These towed home no problem in my pick up and that hardest part was unloading a Ton of engines, as it was only 3 miles from my place and I was already tired from throwing tem up onto the pick up bed, but, not as far to move to the barn.  I sure felt it afterwards as thats 2 ton moved in less than 2 hours.

I have stored them away now in the Barn, but I am still working on New doors for the outside, so will just have to tip toe around for a bit until I am ready to hang the doors up.

Glad to have got them and I know I will be turning to a few when I create some more machines for the tarmac, nice to have spares at your finger tips though.

I have another Motor in a frame you can see and one more on a dolly in the shop that I need to move over, always something to do at my New location, it will take a little time to get it how I want but then it will be icing on the cake as working from Home is always the easiest and more enjoyable way of working i think.

I have a lot of work to try and catch up on since our European visit but refreshed and ready to take on another chapter in the life of Custom Motorcycle creation, I have a few ideas for more exhausts, Handle bars and other parts, so stay tuned to the site if you can.

Oil leaks whilst i was away need to be cleaned and gaskets fitted, Doors painted and hung, and then organise the bikes and where the parts will go is something that is not to be rushed but everyday there is something to mess about with and I enjoy so much.

Thanks for reading my posts, I like to share what I have been up to and its great hearing from you too and seeing what you are building at home, if I can help I always will be it via email carpy@carpyscaferacers.com or call / text at 714-598-8392 as its a pleasure having a chin wag where ever you are in the globe.

Up for sale is my Girls Triumph Bonneville T100 Special, this bike is a turn key model and ready to have fun on the tarmac this summer, cleaner than a cats arse and a lot of fun to ride, this twinline is a great all round Motorcycle that will give you many miles of smiles that’s for certain.

You are looking at a very well looked after and maintained Triumph Bonneville, this is Jennifer’s personal bike and I have made sure this has always been in great condition, fires right up and has a velvet tone that exits from my Own Stainless Steel Dunstall style megaphones that I hand made.

If you are looking for a well loved and treated Motorcycle, hard to beat this one, never thrashed, over revved or misused, this T100 runs like a well oiled Swiss Watch and it seems to be quite the head turner where ever it travels too.

This Bonneville has been regularly serviced and Recently had New Fuel Pump and New Battery installed at Triumph, the bike has always been garaged and not left to the elements that many are, so a great opportunity to have a low milage un abused Motorcycle that will not let you down.

This Motorcycle has had some upgrades, like Led Brake lights, Stainless Exhaust System, BC Handlebars, Custom Grips, headlight Visor,Pedestrian front fender License plate, Polished Front fork brace to give great stability. And of course engine side covers have been triple chromed and polished to show quality.

You will also notice that this bike has a set of Saddle bags attached, these are removable but so handy and they have been used many times on our travels, a god send to fit jackets, gloves and tools etc for long trips, I Used Triumph brackets for the bags and then fitted Black ABS Luggage bags to them. I was going to paint them to match the tank, but- they were so useful, we could never take them off lol.

The Triumph also has LED turn signals that get you noticed, a New Battery Just added too, a very clean bike that anyone would love to own and ride of course, the bike has been well looked after and will be missed when she is gone.

Comfortable Custom Metalflake grips give this machine that 1960’s feel and the exhaust tone is like no other Triumph out there, handmade by me and tuned to run to them, this bike is great on gas too.

Below is the Mileage as of right now.

A great Motorcycle for any rider, the power is smooth, linear throttle increase, makes this bike a cinch to ride and enjoyable all day long, this will look at home in any stable.

Old Video but was fun to look back at the shop in the City Of Orange

I had fun with this shop, had to build all the walls, move one wall 20 feet back, move stairs etc, paint floors and make a brick facade speed shop ewtc, it took a long time but sure did look good.

Lucky for me now I have my very own workshop/Barn, so no more renting premises, as so much money goes to a Landlord.

But wanted to share the old place to you lot, hopefully you will dig it?

New Products Coming Soon

Well, its been over 23 Years now since I first started this and I have always enjoyed the journey, anything to do with 2 wheels is a plus for me and I am sure it is for like minded folk like you lot, who have followed me all this time and repeatedly purchased my products for your ride or friends etc.

I think I am now going to push the envelope a little more and start to offer parts on a wider range of Motorcycles as well as different brands too, making this a One Stop shop in a way, I always like to help people complete their ride and this will be a bigger website with a faster load capability.

I am pushing as hard as I can to continue to help everybody out, as I now have my Very Own Barn/Workshop now, I can start to slowly increase Products and offer them to you direct from my place, I am going to be trying a few different Exhaust systems and on slightly different models, as I want to cater for many cool rides that we all enjoy.

I will be visiting with a few well known Manufacturers of other parts too, so hope to cover an array of two wheeled Motorcycles and get you the best price for your hard earned buck.

My exhausts systems are still going well as I have $100 off them right now and as gas is so expensive I thought I would leave them at that price for a while and give you a great deal.

From completely rebuilt front forks that are polished, new uppers and new seals and springs etc, ready to bolt on and go for your ride, to OEM parts for your 500 -550 or 750 Big 4 Honda.

I hope to help you all and also I may start to make videos like I did years ago to see if I can help any of you when you get stuck on a project, you can always email me at carpy@carpyscaferacers.com with any questions and I will always get back to you, failing that, you can call or text me on 714-598-8392 for a faster response, I am here to help.

The Rocket Four Motorcycle I built out of a non running CB750 Four Honda back in 2007

Time does indeed scream by at a pace that I really cannot fathom these days, but I am glad there are such things as you Tube etc that keep videos that I posted all them years ago.

Here is the “Rocket Four” Bike that I created out of an old non running inline four, I love these 500 pounders and this was a great build that none were around at all when I did this, so it stood out, I have no clue where the bike is now but hope they had fun with it?

Fun days and The seat I made for this bike came on to be a best seller for me, sending over 500 of these Rocket Four seats all over the globe, quite proud of that to be honest.

The REVOLVER CB750 HONDA Custom Cafe Motorcycle I created and now resides in Australia

Every Motorcycle that I have built from the ground up is always tough to let it go, but- that’s what I do, create and build motorcycles as well as parts etc, this was fun creation that I put together for a Girl out in Australia, she wanted it gold flake and I did my very best to give her a Creation that had all the bells and whistles too.

It took me a while to get this machine to how I wanted it and I really enjoyed completing this project for the customer, using an old rusted out drag bike that I had sitting in the yard for years, it was so nice to recreate something and for the owner to be super stoked about it to.

I put my heart and soul into this build and I still supply these parts to my Customers today, a very cool head turning machine that not only looks great, it has a built motor and of course my Performance 4 into 1 exhaust system on it too.

So much Metalflake was used and Gallons of clear to give it that depth, braided cables throughout and am super proud of this build.

I hope that you like the way the bike sits and of course looks, more tricks than a Magicians coat to be honest and it was a blast to put together for Jess.

Custom Gauges, Display lights and a Ton of other Modifications throughout this bike made this one of my favorite rides of all time it sure was a piece of art.

I have sold hundreds of these 4 into 1 exhaust systems of mine, they sound and perform so well and have that 1970’s superbike reverb when you get on it.

Just thought I would share a fun memory that was so enjoyable to create and it resides on the other side of the Globe.

Here it is in Australia with the Owner, a one off machine that came out the way that she wanted it to look , thanks for having a look today.
